Meghna is one of the main 3 Rivers of Bangladesh. Its the source of Water, fish and transport. Meghna ferry ghat is one of the important for reach the southern part of the country. And the sothern part of this country is the most important place after the capital Dhaka because Chittagong is the port city and commercial city of Bangladesh. so its very important to keep communication smooth though Meghna. Hence Meghna ferry Terminal is very important. But now the Meghna Bridge from 1996 is doing the job very well but the necessity of this Ferry Terminal(Ghat) is very Important.
