This is the famous chandpur railway station where rail line ended. This railway station was established back in British period. From here the train starts journey to Dhaka, Chittagong. Every day at least two train starts journey from this station. Many people also come here to see this station along many other attractions.

It is a very important railway station which connect south-western part of the country with south-eastern part. A lot of people travel by train come here to board on launch/steamer here to go Barisal, Patuakhali, from Chittagong, Comilla, Sylhet. The journey is more comfortable by steamer and train than by bus.
