  Manipuri Theatre was set up by playwright and theatre activist Shubhashish Sinha and his team. It is situated on the edges of a paddy field, in the village of Ghoramara in Komolganj of Moulvibazar district. It is set upon the idea of Gram Theatre; a village, a theatre. It is made with mostly bamboo and woods. Though in a remote area, it always maintains the true flavor of a theatre.
