The Khilgaon Model College (KMUC) was inaugurated on 24 August 1970 by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman on a spacious and eye-caching campus of about ten acres of land.
The college runs two shifts and imparts teaching in HSC, graduate and post graduate level. This is also one of the few 4-star colleges affiliated under the National University (NU). BBA Honours (Professional) Course has been an additional charm of the college.

Like this college very much. Teachers are very qualified, my wife was a student of this institution. I have several visits there. It is a very big campus with a big playground, playground is surrounded with trees, class rooms are well designed and ventilated. The college is situated in a central point. Communication system from railway station and bus station. Also there are no nearby colleges available this much good quality that students can get.

The college runs two shifts and imparts teaching in HSC, graduate and post graduate level. This is also one of the few 4-star colleges affiliated under the National University (NU). BBA Honours (Professional) Course has been an additional charm of the college. As an educational institute, our objective is to ensure evolution of students’ latent talents and make them into enlightened humans through quality education and to inculcate in them moral thoughts along with pragmatic skills for life so that they learn to meet challenges to come.

Our experienced and committed teaching staff are devoted to extending their friendly cooperation to students in achieving their goals. Their efforts combined with those of the honorable chairperson of the college managing committee, honorable GB members, guardians, local educationists, young learners and internal officers and employees have always been a source of our regular and striking success in both board and NU examinations.

For science students, the college has an elaborate laboratory equipped with all modern scientific apparatus. Constant monitoring of classes by an academic sub-committee in collaboration with both the principal and the vice principal, mandatory participation of students in regular class tests, tutorials, in-courses, monthly tests brings confidence brings in students an utmost confidence of success. Students are highly encouraged also in other co-curricular activities including debate, general knowledge competitions and so on.
