Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) was established under the Private University Act in the year 2003 modelled on North American Universities, with the approval of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh. It was founded by Dhaka Commerce College, Mirpur- 2, Dhaka, and is managed by a Board of Trustees and a Syndicate. BUBT is one of the leading universities in the private sector of Bangladesh. It has been providing quality education and training since its very inception. At present BUBT has established itself as a top ranking Private University in the country, not only by fulfilling all of the requirements of the Private University Act, 2010, but also by maintaining the standard of education, research facilities, transparent examination system, updated academic programs, necessary physical infrastructures, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, modern facilities for the students and a disciplined environment.

BUBT is a great university of commerce in Mirpur, Dhaka. The campus of BUBT situated at Rupnogor, Mirpur. BUBT means Bangladesh University of Business Technology. They have a great team of teacher who are skilled and also tallent in their own business or trade. The campus also in a good lication the architectire of this campus also have a great view from outside and the inside also good enough.

I am loving my time at the university. The campus has almost all the facilities what I needed. It is really a good option for low and mid range budget university with good education.

If you want to get average type of education within low cost in Bangladeshi Private Universities then as a choice of BUBT is not bad. I feel proud to become a BUBTIAN. It has also some problems too. Faculty members change very frequently which is a big problem for the both students and authority. Also the resource personel most of them are new with little practical knowledge and without which makes the students unhappy sometimes but this is not true for all. Campus is good but lack of open space. No hostel facility. Also the controlling authority not always behave as like the studens expect. Many students suffers with auto course registration system. There is also records to get students out of exam hall for not paying the semester fee in due time. Most faculty members are not aware of teaching methodlogy. They should be trained up on teaching before assigning them to the course. But if u compare with same category other private universities in Bangladesh then obviously BUBT is highly recommended. This is my personal opinion and may varry to persons.

It is one of the eight Universities to receive the Green Signal from the government, inspite of its being one of the very young Private Universities of Bangladesh, only 12 years old, established in 2003. It is modeled on North American Universities and it was duly approved by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) and the Ministry of Education, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh. It was founded by Dhaka Commerce College, Mipur-2, Dhaka-1216 and is managed by a Board of Trustees and a Syndicate in which the Principal of the College and the Chairman of the Governing Body of the College are the Ex-Officio members. Thus BUBT and Dhaka Commerce College are the two institutions working together in peace and harmony for imparting quality education. Within a short time of its establishment BUBT has succeeded in transforming itself into one of the leading Private Universities of Bangladesh and has since been providing quality education and training.

It's one of the quick developing private University of Bangladesh. Which is very popular to the Lower middle order to Middle order's for providing the quality Higher Education at cheapest cost. Although, still it has to improve more about their infrastructural and service related facilities. I'm quite pleased of their education system. So, overall it's going very well.
