Kasbatuli Jame Mosque is a mosque centenary centered on PK Ghosh Road in the Koshaituli area of old Dhaka . Locally known as 'Sugar Piece Mosque'. Originally, the residents of the mosque are like sugar bean to see the white pieces of the peanut, and the residents called the mosque by the name.
The mosque was built in 1907. A businessman named Abdul Bari built it. In 1979, the mosque was reformed without any change in artwork. Later, it was expanded east and north to increase the capacity of the mosque. The original mosque is one-storey but the extended part is three-storey. Currently it is located in about five kathas.
There is no flat roof in the building of the original mosque. Every pillar in the roofless mosque has the domes. There are three domes on the roof of the main section. The dome between the three dome is large and the middle of the two dimensions are medium. There are four bases in the four corners, the same type of corkworks. The domes and towers have lotus designs on the head. There are a lot of trenches around the rooftop of the roof.
