It's a religious place. You can visit here if you wanna refresh your mind with peace. It is open 24hours during controlling by Nizamuddin Tablighi World Markaz followres. Some restrictions on entry during controlling by Pakistani world shura followers.

Kakrail Mosque is very significant not only in Dhaka but in Bangladesh also. There is an Islamic School (madrasa) inside it. Thousands of foreign visitors roam here throughout every year. This is basically the headquarter of the Tablig Jamat in Bangladesh. This is probably the only place in entire Bangladesh where people are busy doing something in 24 hrs.

The mosque was built in an undetermined time period but is being used for Tablig Jamat since 1950s. The famous Tongi Iztema is operated and maintained from here.

Kakrail Masque is globally known for its activity of Dawa Ilallah, popularly known asTabliq.
Tabliq, the main & most important Sunnah of Rasul SWS. But unfortunately right now the people of Muslim ummah totally forget about it and some of them think this as bidah. Which is totally wrong.
May Allah give us hidayah.

The mosque is very busy with people from all the country. At the moment, renovation work is going on. Hopefully, within few years, kakrail will be able accommodate all the people properly.
