This hotel is the pioneer of modern residential hotel in Barishal city. As a result people looking forward with high expectations. For my first hand experience I would like to analysis :

** Positive aspect :
24 hours Lift facilities.
Clean rooms.
Nice views from rooms.
Very close to Launch terminal.
Located in the heart of the city.

** Negative aspect :
Rooftop bar is open for all. Nasty local people including young boys are using lift to get in the bar. No specific lift or stair for residential hotel. And you can feel bad smell. Room service need to improve.

Its a middle class hotel in Barisal City. Hotel & Hotel room is good and satisfactory. Their food quality is delicious but price is too high. Room condition is not bad price is too high. But overall good.

Bedsheet and Blanket are not properly washed.
I booked a Queen Room. Sufficient breathing space in room.
No exhaust fan in washroom also the washroom size was very small.
Only 1 hanger was there inside the cabinet for hanging my shirt.
Complementary breakfast. Dont try that.
Small TV (picture quality is worst)

Hotel Arena - like Athena - is one of the better hotels in the city. The rooms are spacious and bright. Sometimes the hotel can be noisy due to location. While there are more expensive places to stay in Barisal - Arena has good location and pretty reasonable prices. Services are slow and sometimes labored, you need to forcefully demannd and obtain services.

Residential hotel - new building that's why all are clean and glittering. Top floor restaurant named "Handi-Karai" have both air conditioned and open space on the roof. Food is tasty and variable but hotel management need to know how to handle guest/customer when over crowded. Good environment on the top floor but need to sustain the service always. Good luck.

Luxurious and comfortable accompdation. well mannered staff are ready for warm welcome. Spacious lobby, smoking zone is really awesome. Room service is up to the mark. Handi Karai Rooftop restaurant is the best place for enjoying delicious food with great river view. To enjoy the romantic moment couple must come at dusk. Hotel Arena is the best accommodation in town in affordable price.

One of the best hotels in Barisal.
Though Barisal is one of the oldest city in Bangladesh, you will find only few hotels to stay. Recently a new hotel has been inaugurated. Apart from that Arena is the only hotel you can stay. They have started their restaurant on 30 Sep 2016 on top floor. Free wi-fi in the room. Rooms are getting older, some places wall..

Hotel Arena is located at Sadar Road , Barishal . It's not large hotel. This hotel not any housekeeping and front office section. Only has service staff and reception manager. This hotel has own Bar and One restaurant . Their bar quality is comparatively not bad. Handi Karai is their restaurant and especially based on Indian Food and also others cuisine. This hotel normal room rent 2000 taka and maximum 4000 taka. Their service is good in Barishal City .

It's a regular type hotel on a busy road. But have own parking. Rooms are not very furnished. Small washroom with no bathtub. Cash only payment which is not good now a days. Have wifi but slow. Have a restaurants which is little costly.

Quite expensive comparing the service the provide. Sheets are not clean as you expect, after asking for an astray they provided a broken one. The parking is usually crowded because of the bar at 8th floor probably, stuffs at parking are not cordial. In washroom you are supposed to expect a fresh towel, they certainly don't provide that. Lots of areas to improve. Though location is good, you get everything in 15 minutes distance. View is also good.

Room amenities became old may be lack of maintenance and servicing I was used to stay this hotel 4 years back there is a roof top restaurant named Handi Karai.. u can try some Indian food hereenjoy birds eye view

Good hotel in a nice and central location. Their services are satisfactory and foods are quite good & tasty. Very comfortable and well decorated rooms. Only missing is morning breakfast which should be complimentary at this rate.
