One of the first multilevel super market to introduce escalator, the Eastern Plaza has since past it's glory days. Go for Bashundhara City shopping complex if you want to shop clothes but for electronics items and phone servicing it's still one of the best! Been there after a long time and was happy to see it has started to slowly regain it's better days.

When I was young, I used to come here with my mother for shopping. This place has changed a lot, but still considered as one of the luxurious shopping malls of the Dhaka city. The mall has various kinds of products in different floors. It has also underground car parking facilities & good security systems. I still come here sometimes. I purchase technology products mostly from here. Nice place for shopping.

I bought here a power bank for my smart phone.. It is good.. Though most of the shops wanted me to buy fake Mi power banks for less price.. I didn’t get convinced.. Other smart phone accessories are also available here.. You can buy smart phone of some brands too here.. But the salesmen here didn't seem to be smart to me.. There are a lot of shops for clothes, toys, utensils and jewellery.. I never bought anything from them.. The most useful thing about this place I think is, it remains open on Tuesday whether most of the shopping complexes in the city remains closed.. ☺

Not a very active shopping mall. Very few customers come everyday. From one of the best shopping mall, now it is becoming dead. Mostly because of being in a busy road where jam is the regular thing because of densely situated shops. Not a bad place for shopping but not a very good place for roaming around.

Though price of the products are little bit high but have quality products. The behaviour of the sales men are very good.
This market is very neat and clean.
You can change your product within the time frame, you need to discuss this before buying any product.

The security system of this shopping mall is very fine.

It has an underground parking system. Their lift is small in size and only carry 4/5 person together. They should improve in this thing.

Eastern Plaza is one of the oldest markets in the Country. This market is famous for mobile accessories and repairing of used mobile. Some people are actually very good at those repairing services, Sadly, we can't utilize this resource properly. Apart from this, Maximum mobile sold in this market are either fake or re-fabricated. The sellers are very dishonest, cunning and united for their mischief.

It used to be the posh shopping centre, the go-to place for any sort of mobile solution, the heaven for all sort of DVD, but lost its appeal to attract new generation shoppers. Still a place of nostalgia for me, where I could find the essence of my childhood. Will still sit around the Igloo Ice-cream parlour just for the sake of a walk in the memory lane.
