Typical Bangla Bar. It's not very clean. The environment inside the bar is unexplainable because its very dark, playing loud Hindi music always from TV, the air stinks. Service is like how you'd expect in a sub standard restaurant in Bangladesh. The best option is to takeaway your drink and enjoy at home. Variety of drinks are very limited but I put 5 Stars because it's better than nothing.

No harassment. You can call it haven to those people who demand good service in low cost. But Little bid disappointed cause i only find carow and hunter beer in average price and sometimes Holanda beer but price is high.

Not a bad place for a quick drink . They serve shots of the local liquors from Carew and Co (Keru) and other types of alcohol
Their Hunters beer tasted warm , that was the only downside about the place.

Inexpensive local pub/bar where alcoholic beverages and light repast can be enjoyed at very reasonable prices. The ambience of the place is not great, but products and service is good. In the Bangladeshi context such bars are strictly a men only venue, and women are advised against visiting this place.

Bartenders will ask for tips even before you'll sit down. Ridiculously bad behavior. Alcohol price is also higher. There are better places in Dhaka to get a drink. Avoid this bar.

Place is very dark and crowded. The play music in high volume. Song selection is not standard. Although they have various alcohol collection. I must say their food taste is awesome.

Nice but very risky..if u don't have a drinking license u can fall under random police rab checkings and end up being fined or even jailed..

They sell mostly local alcohol like kero but also have international spirits at times
..the beef bhuna is soo delicious.no point eating or drinking there
..before Eid there was a raid and so many people got arrested including their own staff..thumbs down..u can make a liquor license permit now for 3k valid for 1 year.great place but very risky frequent rab and db checkingsall the best

Dimple is an old bar. It was located in Uttara back in 2007-2008. Through time, with the introduction of more standard bars in Dhaka city, the role of Dimple became obsolete, as the new bars were better designed, had more variation of alcohol, had better prices and waiting services. Infact I would never recommended Dimple to anyone, because they are known for mixing your drink with cheap alcohol to make more profit. This happened to me twice, I complained to the manager but they were very reluctant about the whole situation and denied that it even happened and even insisted that I did not know alcohol enough to judge whether they have mixed my drink, I have been drinking for 13 years now, since the age of 14!! The only reason one can go to Dimple is to have single shots of Carew whiskey(locally made alcohol) which costs 100 tk per shot(Carew is sold in whole or half bottles in most bars). One of the worst bars in Dhaka city and If you live in the north part of the city I'd urge you to try the bars in Uttara. Don't go to Dimple if you care about you drinks!
Update:-29.06.2018 I bought a bottle of carew whiskey and it was tuned(mixed with other substances), I think they open the caps with heat so the seal doesn't break and then mixes the drinks and then puts the cap back on.. Beware! Undistilled alcohol can kill you!!!

If u need cheap drinks, this is the only option in this area. Happy drinking. Sad part is most of the waiters behavior is also cheap. U have to deal with it.

Dimple Restaurant & Bar is a good place to hang out with friends or watch football on weekends. Prices are a little bit high. Its services and foods are very good. By using google map you can find out it very easily. Opening hours: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM except Friday.
