This is a review as per my visit in January twenty twenty one during the pandemic corona virus chaos happening on planet earth. The Citibank Gold Lounge (as I am only eligible for that - having a gold card, but if you own a platinum card you get another lounge which is superior to this lounge) is situated inside balaka lounge - you have to get in through balaka lounge and believe me if balaka liunge did not have customer service assistants I could never find out the Citibank Gold lounge. The lounge has fantastic state of the art interior! Probably more vibrant than Eastern Bank Limited Skylounge but not as big. The lounge is beautiful to take good pictures with well lightning environment from both sunlight and artificial light combined. The menu was very tight as per coronavirus food restrictions but balaka lounge waiters were kind enough to ask for extra food (made by chef) so we ordered paratha and omelette. The toilet inside the lounge was closed which I could not have an explanation for. Although buffet is closed for covid 19 in January 2021 but this will not be long. You can still get cocacola, sprite, fanta cans, coffees, water (no juices) if you are flying during January twenty twenty one. The serving crew is very helpful. No prayer room inside which was a real problem as I prefer to pray before every flight - thanks to boeing and their faulty aeroplanes. Overall you will not be disappointed with Citibank's Gold Lounge.

Best place to seat at Dhaka airport before you fly. You'll have mouth watering dishes and beverages complimentary having selected bank cards

Average lounge in Dhaka airport. Here you can have access if you have platinum credit card from different banks in Bangladesh or if you are a platinum plus subscriber of Grameenphone. They have large collection of foods as well as alcohol also available here on payments.
