To me it was to some extent unexpectedly nice railway station. It can easily be compared to many other district railway stations. Unlike what is expected, it is an old station but not too shabby and not too small. it's rather a quite clean and big station.There's direct rail communication with Dhaka from here. Serves an important function for making the communication much easier for the people of Jamalpur with the other parts of Bangladesh.

Dewanganj Railway station is one of the oldest railway station in our country. This is the last station of Dhaka-Jamalpur route and if you will start your journey from reverse, then this will be the first station towards Dhaka. The natural environment of this place is beautiful you will find green everywhere. And one thing I have to mention here the people around the stations are so friendly and cooperative.
