this is a great station.this is one of the big station of rangpur divisonit is a zongshon..all of the trains of bd are stopped there.there is a ticket counter.security and the authority is sooo goodthis station have a own train thats called collage trainat least it is soo good

Once it was one of the busiest railway junctions in Bangladesh. Trains to Dhaka coming from Dinajpur and Lamonirhat routes were used to halt and change directions to Teestamukh Ghat/Fulchori Ghat and same was happened in return (up) trip. Now a days it has lot its importance as a junction but still is a busy and important station of Bangladesh Railway Western Division.
