I have been their for some medical report with my wife. The hospital toilet is very dirty and moreover the people who work in the report delivery section is very very rude. They don't know how to serve customer. Even I went to complain about this with their CEO. But this man is much more rude and his behaviour is very aggressive.

About the College

‘CARe’ stands for ‘Centre for Assisted Reproduction’ which was established as a tertiary centre for infertility treatment in November, 1999 at Shamoli, Dhaka. This was the first institute of its kind in the country equipped with all sorts of latest technologies required for ‘In-Vitro Fertilization’. The first IVF babies in Bangladesh ‘Heera, Moni, Mukta (triplets)’were born on 30th May, 2001 in this centre. The first ‘ICSI’(intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection) baby ‘Persa’ was born on 20th June in the same year. This achievement was possible for firm determination and relentless effort of Prof. Dr. Parveen Fatima, a renowned Gynaecologist and Infertility specilialist and Prof. Dr. M. Moazzam Hossain, an Embryologist as well as a Paediatrician.

Considering the difficulties and sufferings of the patients to get medical services from different places, we decided to deliver all types of health services under one roof. With this idea in mind, initially a ten-storied building with 2 basements (72,000 sqft.) was built in 2005 at 2/1 Iqbal Road, Mohammadpur named ‘CARe Hospital’, purposefully built as a hospital. This is a centrally air-conditioned building and equipped with all sorts of modern technical facilities required for health services. The state-of-the-art IVF Laboratory, Operation Theatres, NICU, PICU and other facilities related to Mother and Child Health care are the prime attractions of this hospital. The location of the hospital is easily approachable, fascinating ,on the main road and adjacent to Sangsad Bhaban and GonoBhaban. In 2010, another ten-storied hospital building with two basements (70,000sqft.) having 250 beds was started on the main road at College Gate just opposite Sohrawardi Medical College & Hospital. It was named as ‘CARe Specialized Hospital and Research Centre’. This building is also centrally air-conditioned having emergency, outpatient department, general wards, cabins, ICU, HDU, Haemodialysis unit, Modular operation theatres, investigation facilities like CTScan, MRI, digital X-rays, 4-D ultrasonogram and so on.

The present CARe Hospital building has been restructured and renovated as CARe Medical College and CARe Specialized Hospital and Research Centre is renamed as CARe Medical College Hospital.

This is very good hospital in Bangladesh. They provide services of infertility. This is the first hospital in Bangladesh who are providing test tube baby. So one who need this hospitality can visit there.

This is located at college gate, Mohammapur, Dhaka. Opposite side of Chandrima Uddan.

I'm very happy to say my daughter is doing a lot better now after 1 day. I highly recommend this hospital and the doctors. I was very sceptical about taking my 2 year old daughter to a doctor in Bangladesh when she had a sudden fever. Took her to this place under recommendation from a close relative. The wait time is minimal and the doctor is very professional and knowledgeable.

Good nursing, Doctor so Carey, Duty doctor cordial but too poor management. Some metallic sounds come out from lift. Informal bedsheets, blanket. Always traffic sounds come in to the room from main road whereas single bed cabin 3800 and two bed cabin 4800 per day with vat. Food bill extra if would like to feed patient. That is all I experienced here. One more think, I don't know about another care hospital at Asadgate.
