ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিলে আমি যাই একটি প্রোগ্রামের উদ্দেশ্যে এটি ফুলার রোডে অবস্থিত, উদয়ন স্কুলের পাশে, শাহবাগ নেমে রিকসা দিয়ে যাওয়া যায়, ভাড়া ২০-৩০ টাকা। ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিলের নিরাপত্তা মোটামুটি ভালোই কড়া। ঢুকতে বের হতে বেশ বেগ পেতে হয়েছে। আমাদের সেমিনারটা অডিটোরিয়ামে হবার কথা থাকলেও দুর্ভাগ্যবশত তাতে সমস্য ছিল।

This is the best place to learn English for any person such as students, workers, housewife, children, and adult also. Its provide a large library to study at library room for anyone but one can lend a book from here if ones have a library card or he/she has library membership. The full accommodation is to be designed as English environment. In addition, free wifi service is also helping the learners to search and save any kind of resource at open source in online.

One of the best places for the learners in the city to learn English as a second language. Besides its academic part, the British Council also used to run a lot of development ventures, especially engaging the Youth to grow them as future leaders influenced by the core values of volunteerism to actively participate in Social Action Projects all over the country. The workplace is very intuitively designed with modern interior designing features, one of the best in the country.

A knowledge gathering place. Yea, you easily can understand what is the work of this library. You can easily be a member of this library and start reading. For that if you are a regular student of DU you have to pay 1500 tk per year, and if not, you have to pay 3000 tk per year!
And one thing, there remains every kinds of facilities there.

A nice place particularly when in a rain fall at evening if you sit just just beside the doors situated with the prayer room though you'll not be able to read any books on that time and even they will not let you to sit for a while. Although the experiences and the feelings will not be so little as the moment when you will be there.

They have been working in Dhaka since 1951. Today, They have expanded our presence to multiple locations in Bangladesh. They offer a wide range of services and activities across the country, through our offices in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet.

In September 2014, They will be opening a new state-of-the-art library in Dhaka featuring the best of British. They also run English teaching centers, English language courses and examination operations in Bangladesh.
They work in partnership with a large number of public, private, non-profit and non-governmental organizations to deliver a portfolio of vibrant and impactful projects and are strongly committed to equal opportunity and diversity in all aspects of our work.
