Very muddy place. You need to take of your shoes. You can wash your foot nearby tube well.

Beautiful Place. But be care to get on the ferry boat. Most cases you have to put off your shoes to go thorogh the knee deep water to get on it. loafers or rubber shoes are more useful while traveling to Nijhum Dwip because of this :)

Bondortila boat ghat is the entrance of the reserve forest 'Nijhum Dwip'. it is only five minutes drive by trawlar (engine boat) from moktaria ghat of hatia mainland. but problem is that there is no floating platform or pontun at bondortila ghat and moktaria ghat. it is hazard for tourist and locals. govermnent can provide some facilities to uphold 'Nijhum Dwip'
