Second largest mangrove forest of bangladesh. It is famous for amazing natural view and rain deer. About 15 thousand deer live in this forest.

Its a very beautiful place. Its a great combination of Sundarban, Kuakata and Ratargul, all in one place. It has mangrove forest like the Sundarbans, some parts of the forest are submerged like Ratargul, and has a beach with the flavor of Kuakata. Butif you want to see deer here, dont keep your expectation high. Deer are rare these days.

Very nice place to chill. Far from crowd & busy city. Very quite place. I have visited Dec 2017. Mobile phone works for GP & Robi. No Banglalink. If you want to visit & stay connected with your family you need to have a SIM which has coverage. Price of food at not that cheap. Very scare of fish in winter. If you like spicy food, do not get disappointed if hotel provides you egg fry with powder spice!!!!.

The scenic beauty of forest and deers serve as a peace to the hectic life of city dwellers. It's a perfect place for hangout. But the forest needs more renovations and Government should take necessary steps in respect of security and safety for every tourists as it can be a better tourist attraction.

Mangrove Forest. sometimes called as miniature of Sundarban. Huge number of deer is there but you must be lucky enough to see those. However you may see footprint of deer in the forest.
