Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science & Technology University is currently the 4th Largest Public University in terms of Seat Number.Although its a Science & Technology University it has all types of Department such as Business Studies,Law,Humanities,Agriculture etc with all the science related Departments :)

It is the first digital research university in Bangladesh.Some foreigner are also studying here.According to the number of seat to recruit student in a year,it have already stood 4th position in Bangladesh.Simply we may say that it 4th largest university in Bangladesh.More than 30 departments are here to enlighten you.

This university offers 23 graduate degree, about 10 master's degree, one PhD degree. It provides education in the areas of , Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering ,Electronics & Communication Engineering, Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology and Genetics Engineering, Biochemistry And Molecular Biology, Mathematics, Statistics, Management, Accounting and Information Systems,Marketing,Economics, Sociology, Public Administration, English, Bangla, International Relations, Law, Chemistry, Physics, Agriculture,Enviorment Science And Disaster Management etc. For undergraduate admission a student should must face admission test.The admission test is held every academic session that arrange by university authority. Every faculty arrange individual admission test, which is generally up to 100 marks.
The campus consists of three hall for the students and individual residences for the VC, a mosque, two teacher’s residences, central library cafeteria, an academic building, and an administrative building. The institution has a central library name Ekushee February Library Center with large volumes. The library has a rich collection of Text Book, other Books and great number of Journals and Newspapers. The medical center is temporarily placed at the ground floor of the administrative building. A branch of the official bank of “Agrani Bank Limited” is located at the ground floor of the Administrative building.VC Bungalow’ this building is located at the corner of the campus. This building is for accommodation of the Vice-Chancellor of the BSMRSTU.Cafeteria; it is situated North part of the Campus.
