Doc gave a bogus power change of my glassess. I had to change the power again after going to a new doc in Bangladesh eye hospital just to know that the previous diagnosis from Al noor was completely useless.

Very long waiting times. The doctor checks multiple patients at the same time, and takes about 2 mins per patient, which I think is a little too fast. Good thing that it's cheap. Also the pharmacy is right outside, which is very convenient.

My mother had her cataract operation here in 2012 at that time service was good. This is reliable saudi charity, Al bashar foundation.they receive minimum fees. They sells eye medicines and spectacles at minimun price but maintains standard. Becauuse of low cost its crowded for eye checkup and medication.

Previously known as 'Al- Maghribi' now known as Al- Noor eye hospital is very popular around Dhaka city, they were funded by UAE's Al bashar foundation. but now it has gone in private.
back then they provided services as cheap as governmental Hospitals, but now it is charged as usual, but still cheaper than any other private hospitals.
their service is now a days disappointing. they used to be top notch back in the '90.
the area should be much more bigger than now.
it get very congested during pick time.

Servicing hour: 8am-2pm and 3pm-9pm

Ticket fee: 8am-2pm: 150 taka; 3pm-9pm: 200 taka ( Friday ticket 200 taka).

You can take medicine from their pharmacy and glass from their optics shop.
