Specialized cancer treatment hospital as well as cancer learning institute that owned by government. Being a government organization cost of treatment for the patients are relatively lower although the powerful people get better & quicker treatment than the poor people.
As a Specialized institute for different types of cancer, people can get good treatment and opinion from skilled doctors.
Doctors from different hospital come here for learning cancer treatment and doing research on cancer.
Infrastructure is good but still it is not sufficient, because very often the patients can't get seats for getting admitted here. So, it is required to increase the number of patients seats as well as number of doctors.
It is required to keep eyes on the maintenance of instruments so that patients service do not hamper.
New technology that the developed countries are using need to be implemented.
We, patients, as well as the hospital personnel should be conscious cleanliness of hospital for a healthy environment and sustainable health services.
Finally, it is still one of the best places for cancer treatment and cancer study & research.response / report this review -

National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH) offers an energetic and dynamic environment and staffed by well trained professionals dedicated to cancer patient management, education and research. This is the only tertiary level center of the country engaged in multidisciplinary cancer patient management. It started its activity in a tin-shade building of Dhaka Medical College Hospital 1982, soon it is shifted to the present location at Mohakhali in 1986. According to a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Health and Rotary Club of Dhaka the latter built the Rotary Cancer Detection Unit (RCDU) and the Cancer Institute started working as an outdoor cancer detection unit only. In 1991, 50 bed indoor facilities incorporated. In 1994 the cancer institute renamed as National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH) and first radiation treatment was applied to a patient in 1995 with a Cobalt 60 Teletherapy machine. With provision of support from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) the up gradation works of this Institute to 300 bedded Center has been completed.The 300 bed hospital was inaugurated in April 2015.

National Institute of Cancer Research Hospital (জাতীয় ক্যান্সার গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউট এবং হাসপাতাল) placed at Mohakhali TB gate is the only specialized government institute and tertiary level cancer hospital in Bangladesh which was established in 1982 by ministry of health of Government of Bangladesh. This is one of the Well Organized Government Hospital and Institute I Have Seen. They Have Got Proper Equipment’s for the Treatment of the Patients. For Being a government organization quality of treatment for the patients are relatively lower although the powerful people get better & quicker treatment than the poor people. The doctors are roughly friendly. Have separate department For Diagnosis and treatment of Cancer. Environment of hospital is roughly good, but Can't Complainable. Infrastructure of entire hospital is good but it is not sufficient with number of patients. So, it is required to increase the number of patient’s seats as well as number of doctors. It is required to keep eyes on the maintenance of instruments. At present NICRH offers following courses: MS in Surgical Oncology MD in Radiation Oncology MD in Medical Oncology. National Institute oof Cancer Research Hospital (NICRH) is the only specialized government institute and tertiary level cancer hospital in Bangladesh. It was established in 1982 by the Government of Bangladesh.
NICRH offers following courses:
MS in Surgical Oncology
MD in Radiation Oncology
MD in Medical Oncology
Cancer Research Bangladesh (Cancer Research BD) is an international umbrella organisation providing cancer research & cancer information for the people of Bangladesh.
The institute organised a conference in October 2014 to publicise the difficulties they faced in persuading women to seek early treatment for breast cancer because of embarrassment. Prof Mohammad Golam Mostafa also said that in Bangladesh many more women aged between 15 and 20 are found suffering from breast cancer than in other countries in his opinion, due to eating vegetables and fruits which had been treated with toxic chemically.response / report this review -

Probably One Of The Well Organized Government Hospital And Institute I Have Seen.They Have Got Proper Equipments For The Treatment Of The Patients,The doctors are very friendly.Seperate department For Diagnosis and treatment Of Cancer.Environment Could have Been cleaner,But Can't Complain.

National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital one of the Specialize Unit of Local Government. It's providing Cancer Treatment & Related Services. But some Service facilities should be more professional. Need to upgrading .. otherwise OK.

The place isn't very clean and is packed with people all the time. The queue is long, there isn't enough space to sit down. But you get what you pay for. This hospital has one of the cheapest rates which is life saving to many people.

In terms of treatment, this is one of the best in the country. But the service they are providing, especially to the poor patients is not up to the mark. They are providing subsidized treatment and hospital facilities to the poor, which is appreciable, but they failed to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness that a hospital should maintain. They need to pay extra attention to this.
