Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology commonly known as AUST is the first non-government engineering university to be established in Bangladesh. The University is considered as one of the finest engineering universities & the leading non-government engineering university in Bangladesh, which was founded by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission in 1995.

Its an amazing university. Around 8000 students study here. Nice cafeteria, indoor playroom, teachers common room, high standard laboratory. Its a private university located at Dhaka tejgaon industrial area. Its an engineering university, but BBA can be studied here. Car parking area generally reserved for students, teachers & stuffs.

One of the educational institutions in Bangladesh. Which is operated by private. Very good from the results and the quality of the study. Besides, they also carry out various types of education activities. Every year, a large number of students are getting access to various public universities. Here students undertake various social services. Many students from the remote areas of the country are getting the opportunity to study here. So finally it will say that it is one of the highest educational institutions considering all aspects.

Best Private Engineering University of Bangladesh. They provide quality education like the world ranked universities. But Sometimes the pressure of their education system does not easy to cope up with everyone. Here CGPA is very much tough to achieve. Now Campus is just a round shaped building. They are going to build personal widened campus, asap.

One of the biggest private University of Bangladesh. Maintained by Ahsania Mission. Owned campus having facility for Bachelor of Science and BBA Graduation and some Post Graduation also. Very well equipped campus with having own laboratory facility for the students. Basically renowned for Civil Engineering and Architecture and Textile Engineering. For graduation this one is one of the best University of Bangladesh. Thank You.

Probably one of the best private Engineering University in Bangladesh. The University is also oldest among the private University. Engineering departments are well established and renowned. The course curriculums are well designed. Quality of education is good. The private University provides a standard lab facilities.

AUST is the first private engineering university to be established in Bangladesh.
The permanent Campus of the University has been built on 5-bighas (1.6 acres) of land at Tejgaon Industrial Area which is located in the heart of Dhaka City. The land use in this area is quickly changing from an industrial area to a commercial area. The permanent Campus of the University has been built on 5-bighas (1.6 acres) of land at Tejgaon Industrial Area which is located in the heart of Dhaka City. The land use in this area is quickly changing from an industrial area to a commercial area. The 10-storied building including 2-level basement has a total floor area of more than 4 lac sq.ft.
Continuous power and water supply is ensured by its own two generators, each of 1000 KVA, 2500 KVA sub-station and 4-inch Dia. deep tube-well. The campus also provides facilities for co-curricular activities like common rooms (male & female), indoor game rooms, etc. as well as space for car parking and heavy machinery labs in the basements. The university was founded by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission in 1995. Dhaka Ahsania Mission is a non-profit voluntary organization in Bangladesh. The Mission was established in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah.

Recognition of Bachelor Degrees of AUST
Bachelor's degrees of AUST are recognized by Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), the leading and one of the oldest universities in the public sector of Bangladesh, for pursuing M.Sc. courses offered by BUET. The relevant Degrees are also accredited with the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), Institute of Architects, Bangladesh (lAB) and the Institute of Textile Engineers & Technologists, Bangladesh (ITET). AUST has also recently achieved a unique distinction through the approval of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) of its newly constructed spacious campus having modern facilities and infrastructures, as the "Permanent Campus" of AUST.
Career
Ahsanullah completed his MA in Philosophy from Presidency College, Kolkata in 1895, and went on to serve as first Muslim Headmaster of Rajshahi Collegiate School. In 1911, he was elected a member of the Royal Society (MRSA) of London. He became the first person amongst the Hindus and Muslims of Undivided Bengal to join the Indian Education Service. He served as a Senator of the University of Calcutta, and was especially active in the movement to establish the University of Dhaka.response / report this review -

Assumed as best private university for engineering subjects like, EEE, ME, Arch. There are some subjects which are not avialble in other private universities such as, ME, Arch. A very reputed University. Very good in Engineering field. Alumni from this university serving all over the world. There are a lot of Key person of this country passed from this university.

Not lots of things to see, but the structure is beautiful. Compared to some varsities, it may not have the most beautiful campus, but the campus is unique than others. It's even renowned for its remarkable academic status. Overall, I am a part of it, so I would definitely like it! ^_^
