9 No Bhatiary Union Parishad is in College para, Bhatiary, Sitakunda, Chittagong. It's on Bhatiary-Hathajary link road. It is very near to Bhatiary bus stand and Bhatiary Shaheed minar. This is a very nice Union, many of the business man are living in this area and they are rich. The Union Parishad office is in College para, but the condition of this college para is very poor. If there is rain doe a few hours, the whole College para goes under rain water. There is no draining system for the water can go out. Peoples living in this area facing a lot of problem. The rain water flooded the road and water enters into the houses. The house holders can't sleep at night even, they are to stay on sitting to clear the water enter their house. Childrens can't come out of houses for move around, they are to stay inside the houses like prisoners for days together. Students of this area are also facing problems for attending their classes. Waters are polluted by the uses of toilets, So, peoples are suffering from many diseases. Maximum houses those are made for rental purpose, are remaining vacant. Because peoples hire houses on rent are not coming in this area due to this problem. This situation arises from last 4/5 years but it is not solved. The administrative authority of this area is may not responding and doing anything. Peoples are suffering but nothing is done.
