এটা ডুমুরিয়া অঞ্চলের মানুষের কাছে একটি বড় অর্জন। এটা স্থাপনের মাধ্যমে তারা স্বাধীনতার সম্পর্কে অনেক কিছু জানতে পারছে। উপজেলা প্রশাসন থেকে শুরু করে অনেক সাংস্কৃতিক গোষ্ঠী এখানে অনুষ্ঠান পরিচালনা করে থাকে। সম্ভটা দেখতে অনেক সুন্দর।

দেশ স্বাধীনের পর এই প্রথম ডুমুরিয়া উপজেলায় মুক্তিযুদ্ধে শহীদদের স্মরণে স্মৃতিসৌধ নির্মিত।
ডুমুরিয়া উপজেলা স্বাধীনতা স্মৃস্তিম্ভের নকশা অনুযায়ী জানা যায়, ৫০ ফুট প্রস্থ এবং ৫০ ফুট দৈর্ঘ বিশিষ্ট লাল রঙের বেদীর উপর ২৫ ফুট উচ্চতাবিশিষ্ট দুটি সাদা স্তম্ভ স্থাপন করা হয়। যার মাঝখানে লাল সবুজের অর্ধবৃত্তাকার দুটি অংশ।
২২ লাখ টাকা ব্যয়ে এটি নির্মাণ করা হয়।response / report this review
