  This mosque is located in the area adjacent to Ruhush's house No. 8 in Chikandandi Union No. 12 of Hathazari upazila. The present two-storey mosque building was reconstructed in 2004 with the financial support of all members of the community. It is the oldest mosque in the area. Many unnamed scholars and ulema, including Maulana Abul Kalam Shah (R), Maulana Enamul Haque (R), and Maulana Syed Nurul Amin, have performed their duties properly as Imams and Khatibs in this mosque. This mosque was listed as Waqf Estate of Ruhush Jame Mosque Waqf Estate (EC No. 20611) in May 2015 at the Waqf Estate under the Ministry of Religion, Government of Bangladesh.
  An official Motawalli was appointed to do so.

  এই মসজিদটি ১৮৮০ খৃস্টাব্দ সালে প্রতিস্টিত হয়,এই মসজিদে শাহ ছুফি মাওলানা আবুল কালাম শাহ (রা) ১৪ বসর ইমাম ও খতিব ছিলেন,ইহা ২১/০৫/২০১৫ খৃস্টাব্দ সালে ওয়াকফ্ এস্টেট এর তালিকাভুক্ত হয়,
