Just had a great walk through Welshman hall gully. Give yourselves plenty of time 1.5 hrs to meander along the gully it's approx 1.2km of concrete path. There are a few steps to climb mid way. Lots to see (although I never saw a monkey). Souvenir show at stsrt/finish has cold drinks which were welcome as it's humid in the gully. Friendly helpfully staff.

Amazing place to visit, get back to nature and most kids love it too with the ziplines and camps that they run every couple of months.

If you are looking for a break from the sun and want to explore some of Barbados' natural beautify and history, this is a good option for you. You'll also see monkeys (usually 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon or so).

Definitely worth a visit if you are in Barbados! Although it would be nice to get the description about the plants in other languages than English

Beautiful place. There are steps that take you to a wonderful look out and there are many animals and plants to take in the beauty of.

Beautiful and peaceful place where you can watch the animal feed and learn about gullies, some trees and nature.

    Superb botanic park.

We arrived late but they let us in and asked to lock the gate on our way out. We were too late to see the monkeys but it was nice seeing all this vegetation around in the middle of no where. Lot's of nice information you can learn a lot. Place is well maintained.

I suggest you do not arrive too late.

If you enjoy a sample of the jungle life in Barbados, give this place a try. A walking trail takes you through a preserved section of the jungle with signs and a guide sheet explaining the various flora of the forest.

However, the highlight is in the beginning, where you are able to view the Green Monkeys. They are wild and may not be there every time, but at 10am we were there to see them for a feeding. Very fun to watch and take photos. Do not feed them by hand, you may lose said hang. Just a great place to watch nature.

The trail is not long. It is a single path in and out, not looped. Oh and hot. And humid. With no breeze, but it's a jungle and that's how they are.

Maintained and orderly walk through a gully. Short, but good explanation of various native and I troduced plants. Also, monkeys are fed here so there will be some around most of the time.

Had a wonderful and educational time with Deborah as our tour guide. You can tell she is passionate about the Bajan ecosystem she cares for. The walking tour lasts about 45 minutes and is leisurely and informative. Lovely drive up to the Gully and a breathtaking view of the ocean from one of the highest points in the island. Affordable fun for a family and worth the drive. Maybe tie it into a trip with Harrison Caves to save time and expense.

A nice walk through a shaded forest. Takes about an hour and lots of photo opportunities. Not too much wildlife but if you check what time the monkeys are being fed the frenzee is a fun show.
