5 only for the Ribeye. I hate that I am even saying this but that steak is the BEST steak I have had in my entire life (including Chicago and New York). It was juicy. It was tasty-seasoned to perfection. I couldn't stop eating it. This steak is so tender, you can literally pull it apart. You don't need a knife. I also had the protein roll and Chief's selection C. I was not impressed with that. They made the plate pretty but I have had better sushi. At least it was fresh. But that Ribeye was divine. Oh and when you come to this part of Barbados, be prepared to not count your money.

We are regulars in Barbados, its our 8th time here and we love the island , people , restaurants in different price point from $ to $$$$. "Nishi Restaurant" is the worst experience ever.We booked dinner there only because of Trip Advisor reviews ! I cant believe it , who could write good reviews about this old outdated place with too much of cream cheese and mayo sushi! Whole building is smelly and outdated, menu books have a rotten smell, we could not sit inside because of old , mouldy smell. Service is terrible, waiters are like robots, no emotions, no attention. Sushi is the worst we ever had, deep fried with cream cheese. Those are not sushi its pretending to be sushi. Try "Fusion restaurant" sushi if you want to have sushi just across the street , incomparable! For $ 240 US for 2 people , you could have an amazing dinner at The Cliff, The Cliff Beach Club, Fusion, Daphne's, Tapas, Tides and many more. Save yourself time and money!

Our food was good. Location convenient, but the price was a jaw dropper. Water, two sushi rolls and a bowl of curry for $150 USD. One time was enough.

We recently went to Nishi for a wonderful dinner as we are visiting from Bermuda 🇧🇲 . We had the dim sum and tuna tar tar as an appetizer and it was great. We had a couple maki rolls (very large portion) for our mains and they were tasty, fresh, and wonderfully prepeared. Service was great and staff were all friendly. Highly recommended!!

This is a nice restaurant to visit when in Holetown. It has nice varied menu ranging from Asian to classic British dishes.
The restaurant itself has been designed beautifully. The out side area is lush with greenery and the inside is very well decorated. If you sit on the inside definitely try to get a seat on the balcony, as you get a very nice view of Holetown.
We had a very welcome welcoming by the restaurant owner himself. Thought the night he checked on us to ensure everything was good and that we didn't need anything. Excellent host.
The food was good and very tasty, only two criticisms, one the tempura batter was a little in the thick side and the chicken was slightly over cooked. When this was mentioned to the restaurant owner he was very apologetic and offered us something else without question or hesitation.
It's a little on the pricey side but the prices are probably in keeping of the surrounding area.
Overall a very good experience and I would definitely go back when in Holetown. I would also recommend booking ahead when in peak season.report this review -

The atmosphere was amazing like a scene straight from the most beautiful part of Japan. The food was so delicious and was presented for all the sences. All together a great night and worth another visit.

I took my family last night, the owner Paul greets you personally as you walk in , so you immediately feel at home, but the best thing about this restaurant is of course the food! The sushi is freshly prepared upstairs and delicious, even if you don't like fish the other dishes are well presented and flavoursome! All round a very pleasant and enjoyable family meal! take your family there for a lovely experience! you'll love it

The service, ambiance and food were all excellent. From the personal greeting by the owner as you enter to the attentive staff, this restaurant is great. A very comfy and inviting atmosphere really set the tone for a romantic evening. The service was fast and always with a smile, and no long waits in between meals. The food was some of the best I have tasted from a local restaurant, on par with Tides. Overall a fabulous experience and I would highly recommend to everyone.
