Ok for a quick drink but the food isn't great and the service is mediocre . The only draw is having TVs for watching sports. Too bad it could be so much more with its beach location.
Nice place to visit. Good drinks, good food for an acceptable price.
Very friendly, relaxed service, great location right on the beach. Great place to watch the sun go down or for a tasty lunch.
Amazing local “catch of the day”, along with other great menu options. Live entertainment most nights but highlighted by a steel pan band on Sunday night starting roughly at 7pm. Open aired dining by a covered roof or out by the sand on picnic table the views will keep you coming backaround 6pm the sunsets are truly amazing from any seat at Surfsides. TV’s are located by the bar with sports and highlights from previous games. Naturally the drink menu covers all the fancy drinks, but if you dare, and more than 3 of you, try the half gallon of rum punch.
Good service and good food. Great view.
Nice bar - its a bit unusual they charge to watch England rugby but not the other six nation teams
Lunch time visit great. Food good. Cocktails delicious. Evening. Busy and staff some staff surly. Hang out for the ex pat crowd. Apparently good for sports.
The staff was pleasant. However, quality of the food was poor. The fish cakes had no fish and where oily. Unacceptable.
Stopped in for lunch with the family and we sat outside on the picnic tables facing the beach. Service was a little bit slow, but it was quite busy with the lunch crowd. It didn't bother us though as we were enjoying the lovely beach scenery. I ordered the flying fish which came with rice and salad. Delicious local food. My husband had the burger which was freshly made and very juicy. Our strawberry daiquiri was a little light on the alcohol, but still tasty. They also have a kids menu which was nice to see. Great spot for a beachy lunch in the heart of Holetown. Walking distance to Limegrove and Massey grocery store.
Stunning food and entertainment. And decent prices
Amazing food, great spot for casual seaside dining and drinks. Best chicken we had on our vacation and the melon drink with the coconut cream was sooo good!
Amazing location, fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. Happy hour is every night and definitely worth a visit, the sunset from this location is fantastic
Great little place right on the beach. They have plenty of screens around the place so that you can enjoy sporting events.
The food is good and there's always some sort of deal on for drinks like happy our or a bucket of banks etc
Lovely setting right on the beach. Nice local food. Will definitely visit again
Friendly staff, great priced drinks and delicious food. Happy to visit again. May even see a turtle again.
Nice food nice drinks lught-hearted atmosphere and kind witty waiting stafd
Service was horrible, so when the bill came and there was a gratuity charge of $9 i was surprised. The server said it wasn't a tip, it was a 'service charge'. Not sure she knows what gratuity means, should have googled the definition for her. Not worth it, go somewhere else where the food and service is actually good.
Lousy service and added gratuity that you can't alter. Overpriced food.
Was recommended here. Visited twice during our time in Holetown. Poor customer service on first visit. Diabolical on second. We felt an inconvenience to the staff, despite there being only 2 tables to attend to & 2 staff. I asked if it was still happy hour when arrived, the waitress told me yes, I asked about the offers and when she'd finished she told me it was no longer happy hour. The staff quite happily chatted at the bar and were on their phone (not against this if the service is good).
Will not be returning or recommending to anyone!
First night in Barbados I went here to eat. Beautiful spot on the beach, not packed, had drinks and food. Places like this further north on the island are great because they don't pester you like they do at tourist hotspots down in the gap or Bridgetown. It's places like this that are why you come to the carribean.
Get lazy at Surfside lounging on a beach chair while you're passed that frozen daiquiri with the glass rimmed with sugar and decorated with a sliver of tropical fruit, the Caribbean Sea is before you, and you don't need a license to enjoy enjoy this.
Awesome atmosphere. Delicious food, but for New Year's Eve, it was WAY overpriced. Especially for vegetarians. $200 BBD for a 3 course meal (salad, couscous with roasted veggies, and bread pudding). I would go back for the regular menu, and skip the overpriced special set menu. They have a sign that says there is a steel drum band every Sunday. Rum punch is VERY strong!
Went here several times for drinks. Great vibe. Service was good. Amazing location for watching the sun set. Happy Hour is a must here.
Right on the beach in central Hometown. Reasonable prices. Great rum punch and fish cakes. Happy hour every day at five. Popular spot to watch the sunset.
Local beers and good cocktails for BDS$10-15. Friendly locals gather around big screens to watch football and other sports with the holiday makers. A very pleasant place to spend a few hours. They do offer a reasonably large food menu, with some local caught fish and local dishes. However I would say the it is on the expensive side for what you get, like most of the other places close by in Holetown.
