Hilton Was Amazing! The only problem we had was the long everlasting wait for our rooms to be ready but that was because we got there in the wee hours of the morning & check in is at 3pmsighApart from that early morning set back everything was super! From the hotel staffs to drivers to the hotel itself. It sits right on thr beach, views at sunset are to die for! The grounds are immaculate; they offer yoga classes, there is a gym, a few restaurants on the premises. I found food to be a bit on the expensive side especially since the exchange rate is 2:1 & it wasn't all inclusivebut all in all my girlfriends & I had a blast!
Nice hotel. Rooms are clean and modern. Service is at island speed, but great. Food is good, but as expected, more expensive then walking down the street to local places. Beach is absolutely beautiful! Sand is soft like powder. Hotel has activities each day for guests. Employees are always asking how things are and how they may help.
Really nice hotel. Staff was very polite and the grounds were excellent. It is in a great location that makes it easy to get out and see the island. If you want to stay in and enjoy their beach you will not be disappointed. Food was good, room was nice and there wasn't noise or construction to keep you awake.
Very nice resort. Was the first place I visited on my trip to Barbados so was a good first insight into the beauty of the place. Awesome views across the sea, nice pools and good beach. Swimming is mostly okay but I think the rock blockade at the end of the beach ruins the view a bit.
Definitely one of my favorite properties in Barbados! This hotel has everything you need and then some! Great breakfast options, including food for Vegan eaters. I also appreciate the option to open my balcony doors and welcome the fresh air from the beach. Beautiful property. My only issue - the housekeeping staff did not respect my choice to reuse linen and towels to do my part for the environment, and also, they did not provide a bath mat on my second day, nor a replacement bar of soap - I had to request these when I returned late night from a long day at work, and this inconvenient for me. Otherwise, great property for business, vacation and family stays!
I had an nice stay in a modern room with sea view. The stuff was really helpful and nice. I also liked the gym with a big choice of equipment. The beautiful private beach was not too full and really off cutted, but the waves there are a way more rough than on the other beaches around. But i would find it a way more accurate in a hotel like this if you would find some free water in your room and not two tiny bottles of no-name water for 10B$ a bottle.
Amazing resort. Has two restaurants, three if you count the bar/grill by the pool. Has various events going on, some hosted by the locals. They were also doing a weekly bbq/grill buffet with a show. Saw it a total of 3 times but it was still fun and interesting to see the stunts (fire breathing, fire limbo) and shows they had. The bar/grill and pool area lead into the beach. Beautiful scenery, two areas to lead into the water, volley ball net and plenty of hotel beach chairs and umbrellas throughout the area to lounge at and enjoy.
What a wonderful experience, room was very nice with a wonderful view. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would go back for sure. Food in some spots of the hotel could be better but over all it was good
The hotel lies at the tip of a bay so you're going to have 210 degrees of amazing turquoise blue sea view. The hotel despite being old has renewed rooms. Experience the local flare for food and drinks but make sure to enjoy the beach here
Beautiful hotel and the staff are extremely nice and helpful whatever you wish they will help if they can or point you in the right direction..the food is just lovely. . STAY there or visit with a day pass and you will be left stunned
Service is not effective enough. Employees need more training in how to deal with customers. Mainly good morning. Good afternoon. Good night. How May assist you.
Wonderful Hotel! Offers breakfast in the morning, usually a pretty good filled breakfast.
I don't have any regrets about staying in this hotel.
It includes beach towels, pool, Cafe's, small shops, breakfast, free coffee and tea.
It's located between the ocean on both sides of the hotel so there is a big chance of getting a good view.
All the staff was incredibly nice and amazing. The rooms were beautiful. However, we did have to change rooms from an allergy problem I was suffering. Our first room had a musky smell (old filter?) once we moved rooms though, I was fine. The food was a little pricey, but still good. There are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance, and just ask the staff, they can all give you excellent reccomdations.
Great hotel with large, wonderful beach and also a nice pool. Wonderful staff. Rooms aren't large, but most have a patio and great view of the ocean. Not much in walking distance of hotel and prices rather high in the resort as to be expected, but not a long taxi ride to any of the great bars or restaurants along the south and west coasts. Our had a small mini-fridge so can load up on some snacks and drinks at one of the shops in town.
It's located on a really marvelous beach strip but the resort needs an upgrade in many ways. If you're looking to host a high tech event here, you may need to source outside companies to provide the essential for your event. Accommodations are good but the food could use an upgrade.
Resort was awesome. Get an ocean view room. It was totally worth it. The staff was awesome. Paulette took care of everything. Everyone was friendly. Foods was ok and expensive. Better places to eat of site. Pool Bar food was good.
Our room was clean, we slept well and the location of this Hilton is fantastic. There's a beach on either side of the hotel. The official hotel beach is great for big waves and boogie boarding, while the beach across the parking lot (with no hotel services unfortunately) is perfect for calm waters in the bay.
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, we did not receive an upgrade (not even to the executive level) but did have access to the executive lounge. Free breakfast for Diamond members is only permitted in the lounge, where breakfast is honestly a nightmare. The lounge is small, food offerings are basic and there are far too many people trying to eat here. They should offer Diamond members the ability to eat breakfast in the restaurant for free.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this Hilton. Be warned, you will need a car if you stay here. But don't worry, driving on the island is easy even though it's on the left!
When traveling to Barbados, I usually stay with family. But, this time, I decided to try something different and was more than impressed. As soon, as you walk into the lobby, you are greeted with a smile and hello from the staff, and an amazing view of the lush landscape Barbados has to offer.
Nice room. Nice staff. Pricey meals and drinks, but expected. Biggest issue are the random dealers and sales people that wander the beach. It's a public beach. Not much can be done, so expect it.
The Location is nice, the ocean is nice & the staff is nice. Now to the rest: The food on the property is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING & OVERPRICED!!! The breakfast would be the only thing I can say that was not disgustingIf you can get over the MILLIONS of birds flying around your table, landing on your tables, crapping as they go by & taking your food should you look away. (PS, I'm from Miami, we have hotels that have established innovative ways to prevent this) They have this stupid "rule" where for example if you order food for the kids (poolside) you HAVE TO order food for yourself as well. The rooms are "okay", ours was outdated although I did see a friends room that was better. Here's another thing. If you try to use your bathroom: sink, shower, toilet or tub b/w the hours of Midnight -7am prepare to be RUDELY AWAKENED! There is NO COLD WATER AVAILABLE! The only water that will come out during those hours is SCORCHING HOT WATER, yes, even the toilet!! So if you need to wash your face, brush your teeth, wash your feet, shower or flush the toilet while your still sitting on it BE PREPARED (& yes I reported this.we were there for 5daysit was never fixed & it wasn't just our room, more of our guests had the same issue. There was about 100 of us that were staying there). Anyways, I don't foresee returning to the Island of Barbados anytime soon but in the event I do, I will 100% NOT stay or recommend this property.
Located on a gorgeous peninsula, with ocean front views pretty much from any room. Very nice pools - there are three of them, counting the toddler pool - with a pool side bar and full food service from the bar staff anywhere around the pool area. The hotel's beaches - yes, there are more than one - are beautiful, and not at all crowded, even in peak season (we were there in late April).
The breakfast buffet is great, and includes a changing daily non alcoholic (it is breakfast) fruit shake, fresh fruit, omlettes made to order, lots of baked goods and bread You get the picture.
Their wonderful breakfast buffet is served in one of three on-site restaurants (including the bar by the pool). We have not visited "The Grill", buy other than the very good breakfast, food is the only mediocre thing about this hotel. Service is very, very good, and seems genuinely friendly. Rooms are spacious with balconies facing the ocean. Having a room service meal on the balcony listening to the ocean is pretty nice.
There are also a few stores on site (great little coffee/ice cream shop, small gift/convinience, making up for the rather remote location.
Overall, great experience.
Very relaxing. Lovely beach view. Bonfire nights are lovely. Beautiful spa and gym. Love going after work for happy hour drinks.
We are staying here for 8 days. The hotel is great. On-site restaurants are pricy.
The executive lounge that we purchased is so so. Not worth it. Breakfast selecting is very poor. Throughout the day there is nothing other than some stale pastries from morning time.
Evening snacks are nothing close to other Hilton brand hotels.
Staff in the executive lounge is not very friendly either.
Other that the lounge, there hotel is good.
I spent i few days here and loved the pool and hot tub area. Would recommend staying here if you get the chance. The staff where very friendly and helpful and made my stay amazing.
Place was clean. .service was pleasant. .breakfast buffet quite varied. .secluded location. .impressive entrance. .overall cool spot. .recommended
Just returned from a week at the Hilton in Barbados. Had a glitch with checking in, we had requested connecting rooms. After finally reaching the manager, Adrian, he had it fixed in minutes. It is that kind of customer service that keeps us coming back to Hilton. The resort is beautiful and the employees are always helpful and smiling. The beach is well maintained and the service can't be beat. We did drive around the island a little, saw other hotels, and after an unfortunate cancelled flight, we actually spend a night at the Marriott. Believe me when I say the Hilton is the way to go in Barbados. It is by far the best that the island has to offer. We can't wait to go back!!
