My partner and I stayed that the BBC for 4 days, through Air Canada Vacations and paid about $1600 each including flight from Toronto.
The positives
- The rooms and hotel itself are generally clean (though I am rather certain I saw a baby cockroach)
- The hotel is right on the water and you have access to a great beach in less than 20 seconds
- Well situated to Oistins, St. Lawrence Gap, and public transit
- The staff are friendly
The negatives
- We were on the 6th floor and *often* did not have proper running water which was pretty frustrating
- The staff while being friendly was ineffectual and didn't follow up when we complained about the water issue (they said they were sorry and would look into a new room and any number of excuses but never followed up either in person or via the phone - I think this was the most frustrating thing of all)
- The food is very hit or miss; generally, the food isn't worth writing home about but I would say we absolutely got what we paid for
- The wifi was incredibly spotty and only occasionally worked in the lobby (which they did give us warning about in advance)
All in all, I would not recommend staying here. My partner and I are excited to go back to Barbados but will never book here again.response / report this review -

The weather is really hot there beaches are very nice.I visited there pig festival the food was soooo good!!!

Excellently maintaned property, especially compared to the Sandals resort next door. The staff was wonderful and were all amazing.

Stayed here for 7 nights. In one word - outstanding! Lovely appointed rooms which were well laid out and very clean. Hotel has a lovely charm and ambience. It is of a good size with 3 swimming pools, gym, beauty salon and 2 restaurants plus decent room service menu. Above all though what makes this hotel stand out is the staff. From check in to check out all services were delivered with a warm smile and a genuine desire to ensure you enjoy your stay nothing was to much trouble. Would not hesitate to recommend and would return in a heartbeat!
