Excellent. Spacious enough to allow for jogging/runnning, or walking, without interrupting others. Adequate parking if driving.

Good place but so many things can be done to modernize it. But otherwise a lovely place

The famous horse racing venue in the south of the island is not too easy to find using the maps supplied by the car hire companies. Great day out with efficient organisation. Stands give good views of winning post. Admission reasonable. Drinks cheap but not too keen on the catering.

Today we had the privledge to visit the track and watch from the Owners/Trainers/Guests area. The air conditioning was nice and cool. Staff were friendly and professional. The finish line was right outisde the box. Drinks were cold. Complimentary food was delicious sandwiches, soup and desserts.

A world Heritage Site, it was the blue print for all other military garrisons during Great Britain reign in the colonial era. It is still part of the ancestral home to the Barbados Defence Force. The buildings are well maintain and the National Armory is worth the visit as it has an extensive cannon collection. A rare 1600 Elizabethan cannon is housed there it is the only kind in the world. There is also the changing of the guard ceremony conducted on Wednesdays, the military personnel are fully decked out in the colonial uniform of the West India Regiment, today that very colorful uniform is officially use by the Barbados Defence Force Band. The history of the area is rich and guided tours are conducted.

Very iconic place from a historical standpoint. To me, this is like the hub of historical Bridgetown and It's Garrison. The Barbados Musem & George Washington House can give some context as to why this site represents such an important aspect of Bajan history.

I think we should develop more heritage tourism attractions around iteasire said than done but yeah

Truly a very pleasing location, lots of historical significance in an area that is still modern and actively used. Nice to see this on a small island like Barbados Always a must see and appreciate. Catch the place on race day or just pass later for a quiet exploration.

New monument in place, good racing facilities and a playpark for children but more can be done to improve the aesthetics.

Beautiful historic British Garrison, preserved and and in wonderful condition. Old parade ground is now a horse race course and rugby ground. Wonderful to see the races every other Saturday! Try a snow cone while you are there, delicious!
