Great atmosphere with really pleasant service . The chef came out to talk to us which made for a genuine experience.

Excellent restaurant in Holetown catering superbly for vegetarian and gluten-free customers. The desserts are amazing. First time I have wanted to eat six of them! With its beach view in the moonlight this ticks all boxes for a romantic meal or just a great evening with friends.

Oh my god! So ridiculously overpriced and the very nice staff have little to no training. We paid $400
Barbados Dollars for a meal that is the level of an all-inclusive Mexican hotel
Dinner. Go to Oistin’s fish market on a Friday for a fantastic Banani meal at one tenth the price!!!

We went to Daphne’s last night. I was particularly excited about lobster linguine which was also available gluten free. In summary poor service- waiting time ridiculously long, fish over cooked. Having fed back to restaurant they acknowledged it but indifferent - not acceptable when it’s so pricey.
I would not recommend this place at all.

Our reservation was at 9 but we had to wait ~10m for our table to be ready. That was ok had a drink at bar.
Eventually got to table and the lady escorting is was lovely but after that it went down hill.
We waited 25-30m for our starters to arrive. I had the pea and asparagus soup which lacked seasoning and was more like cuppa soup. Edible but made worse by the over cooked red snapper it was like rubber. Scallops cooked perfectly. My sister had octopus which she said was amazing.
Linguine finally arrived ( waiter did apologise for the delay apparently had lots of big groups in but given its pricey I don’t think that’s good enough) just when you passed the hunger stage but irritated like hel. Gluten free pasta was ok but the lobster was gritty over cooked like rubber - worst lobster I have ever had. Sister didn’t like her non gluten one either. Passed on dessert because we weren’t prepared to wait another hour. Huge disappointment

Food is delicious had the pasta with lobster. Pricey but compared to Tamarind restaurants and area hotels restaurants it's actually reasonable. Ask for Brad as server he's knows the menu really well and is as friendly as it gets!

Great setting but food is over priced and there are cheaper restaurants with better food nearby without the setting.

Unfriendly staff, they seemed very keen for us to order fast and be on our way. The food was very average.

Thought food was good. Atmosphere was a bit dull and although service was reasonable it certainly did not live up to what you would expect a restaurant of this pricing point to be. Although the staff engaged with us when we spoke to them there was no attempt at creating some sort of rapport. When the waiter first appeared it was" can I take your order". Athough i would expect this at McDonald's i would not at a restaurant of this level. You would usually introduce yourself , ask us how we're doing and even engage in some small talk. All this helps and is part of creating some atmosphere and leaving your experience memorable . So I feel they really need to up their social skills a bit I think and improve. Eating at a high end restaurant is not just about good food and location.
