If you are interested in tropical plants from around the world, and the interesting story of how these gardens started, you should go for a visit. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and answered questions with true pride for the work they do. Worth the time.

Such a beautiful place with so many interesting plants and flowers. You also get all the facts about what each plants/flower/tree/palm can be used for. An extra plus for the girl working there, she was extremely friendly so we hung out and talked to her for some time while drinking super good home made lemonade and having really good coffee. After your visit you can easily walk down to Bathsheba and enjoy the beautiful beach there and eat at Seaside Bar which have really good fish.

Lovely botanical gardens situated at Bathsheba. Great staff who provide refreshments and cakes (delicious). Tasteful gift shop. Gardens themselves have a wide range of tropical plants and are looked after well.

Excellent garden,well laid out,lots of good information ,nice cafe, helpful staff. If you are a UK NT member it's half price but worth every cent of the full entrance fee

The garden isn't to big, but the walk still took us an hour, and we didn't hang around any spot for very long. There's a nice little gift shop, with some local art, and nature themed items. The cafeteria has something to snack on and serve a wicked rum punsch using a traditional recipe.

Such a lush and beautifully tranquil place to visit. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and give you a good background of the gardens origins on your arrival. Please visit it's well worth the money.

Beautiful outdoor botanical garden. There are a series of stone paths that wind through the garden which allow viewing of the plants. Proper footwear should be worn to prevent slipping on mossy stones. Also be ready for high heat and humidity as there is little airflow once you''re in the garden. Wheelchair users will have issues with the many ups, downs and tight turns. Good place for those that are studying horticulture.

Fabulous and colourful garden, but really not accessible to the less able bodied. Very knowledgeable staff. Best lime & ginger and rum punch, according to the staff.

This is a fascinating place run by incredibly friendly people.
They have a tremendous number of plant species, and throughout the garden there are areas that range from bright and colorful to dark and brooding. In other words, tons of variety and a lot to see. Plenty of opportunity to take great photos too, if that's your thing. (Mine may not be great, but I did post them here).
After roaming about for an hour or so, we went back to the main building and chatted with Judith for what was probably over half an hour. She was very welcoming, and truly enthusiastic about Andromeda.
Oh, and ask for a lime and ginger. It was exactly what we needed after a long walk.
BTW - If you're going to head over there, wear sneakers or some kind of appropriate footwear.response / report this review -

You can wonder around and create your own path or follow one of the two designed strolls . Well maintained, with a wide variety of trees and plants. Don't miss the homemade ginger lemonade.

Lovely, rich gardens with a vast collection. Can feel the soul of the creation in this garden. The staff is comfortable and kind. They made me feel warm and welcome, as if coming home into a new family. I will return whenever I visit Barbados again.

These gardens are wonderfully located in Bathsheba. Went on a Sunday to avoid the larger crowds. Only 4-5 passenger vehicles present when we arrived. Felt as if the whole place was ours. Recommend wearing shoes and avoiding flip-flops. The staff seemed passionate about explaining about the Bannochie's(original owners). Worth visiting multiple times.

Sharon & Judith are what gives life to this paradise of a botanical garden. They are so pleasant that I want to come back again & again just to be able to chat with them some more over a cup of their tasty afternoon tea.

Beautiful gardens with charming knowledgable staff. Well worth a visit and you admission ticket is good for two weeks. Put this on your list of places to visit in Barbados!
