Very good museum containing tales from children during the war.

The museum has over 4000 different items, each with its own experience told from a child. Very moving and one of the most touching museums I have ever been to. If you are in Sarajevo you must visit this museum. Entrance fee was 10 Km when we were there on April 30th, 2018.

Really amazing experience, would definitely recommend this museum if you're visiting Sarajevo, the stories are very moving and also the audio guides are really a nice touch and adds a lot to the experience, the museum is well equipped and the staff were very helpful.

A must.

Go with time. Otherwise you will only get into the right mood at the beggining. After a while, a lot of pain and suffering feel redundant and you loose focus and depth on the stories, which is a pitty.

This museum should be visited by everyone parent and everyone child. It might change the perspective in the whole horrible debate we have about refugees in Europe. A must see, if you want to understand my generation in Bosnia.

This museum is brand-new, and I strongly recommend that every visitor to Sarajevo come to see it. It portrays the reality of war through the experiences of the children who survived it. Some of the stories are uplifting, most are heartbreaking. This museum offers something very unique and almost did not get built, so it is very much worth the trip to visit.

A powerful museum for adults and children, and also the rare war museum that is appropriate for children - with judicious labelling of exhibits with smiley faces for the ones that are more appropriate for kids.

The concept is simple: a collection of objects with short childhood memories of their owners during war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Visiting it could be difficult holding back some tears, there are very harsh stories but at the same time you are surprised by fantasy, stubbornness and hope that especially in children resist even during a war.
It's not just another war museum in Sarajevo, I think the idea behind the museum is revolutionary because it has potential also for exploring the theme also beyond Bosnian war.

It was a really emotional and shocking experience to have a chance to see the childhood stories and objects of the people who experienced the war as a child. You can see belongings and anecdotes about them. You can also watch interviews with some of the people who was a child during the war. Great exhibition and work!
