People who work are not polite, look at you as a bag of money. Before you finish food they clean the table to make you fill uncomfortable to pay and leave.

Restaurant in the bazaar area of old town.
Very tasty soup and good food.
Fast service.
However there are some customers who smoked inside the restaurant which is sealed.
They should use the seats outside meant for smokers.
There are too many nicotine addicts in Balkan countries and they are ill-mannered.
The owner should place a clear signboard.

Pod Lipom is a relaxed restaurant offering a number of dishes that are traditional to the region. It is located in a side street in the Old Town, so although it is central it is quieter than other tourist hotspots. The building is a traditional Ottoman structure, with a small terrace area with a few tables outside. The food is served on traditional silverware, and there is an extensive range of dishes which vary from budget to fine-dining, so there is something for every occasion. Bill Clinton has also been a guest here, so it comes highly recommended.

Delicious typical Bosnian food, for an excellent price! We liked it so much we decided to come back the next day. Service was very good as well. We recommend the pea soup (grah), excellent, tastes like my Polish grandmother's!

Pod Lipom serves the best Bosnian cuisine and probably has the most home-like atmosphere and guest friendly reception of any restaurant we have visited in Sarajevo so far. If you are visiting the city, do yourself a favor and dine here.

Might not look so great from the outside but don't be impressed and try the food! Awesome value for money!
