Very nice place in green forest just 15 min. away from Sarajevo on Trebević mountain. Perfect for weekend relaxation with family and friends. Lots of picnick places and traditional restaurants.

Brus is a picnic area near the top of Trebevic, a low mountain ca. 15-20 minute drive away from the centre of Sarajevo. It has a large car park, a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a playground, a pond, a small zoo, several sheltered areas for barbecue with tables and benches. It's a great place for families with children, and everyone else. You can enjoy beautiful nature, fresh air and fabulous views. It's worth a visit at any time of the year, at least for a walk.

Best place for a relaxing afternoon for parents. Great options for the kids. You can sit and drink coffee while the kids play on a large playground. The playground is free on weekdays and very cheap on weekends. Beautiful place, good food, and lots to do. Only 15 mins outside of Sarajevo.

Hmm, Brus :) an amazing restaurant placed on Trebevic :).
You can go there by car, bike or by foot if you are in shape :D
They offer some good food - bosnian food, not expenssive at all, but I recommend you to go there on week days bcs there is less people than, and you can enjoy the nature.
On winter days I like to visit Brus - sit inside by fire and enjoy my tea and 'ustipci with kaymak' :)
Also went there on spring with my family - 4 of us, ate a lot of meat - mixed meat, soups, 'ustipci', all that for only 40KM (20€).
Staff is good :)!
