If you are looking for seaside relaxation dont come here in early june, weather is still not so hot. Other than that, its a pretty awesome place.

It is a really nice hotel! but the room was very small for a 5 star hotel and swimming pool and the beach was closed. - It wasn't mentioned when we booked it.

Please save yourself the torture of staying at this hotel. The rudest staff ever coupled with pathetic non guest friendly policies!
Some of the things that happened in our 1 night stay at this hole of a five star (thank god it was just 1 night):

-on the day of check out, At sharp 12 noon, we got locked out of our room:
We just returned from the beach and went to the room, to proceed with check out. To our surprise, our keys didn't work. We had to go down all the way to the reception to figure that their system automatically logs you out at checkout time. Ironically, we arrived at 12.30 the previous day and were given our room at 2.30 pm as no rooms were ready

-a lady at the reception named Ayslan is the rudest I have encountered in the hospitality business. I asked her about why I was checkout without any prior notice and she tells me that this is a general policy in all 5 stars!! I tell her I tried to check out at 12 but the room was locked out. To this She goes on to tell me, you should come down and take another key! I tell her again that this is very inconvenient with kids to go back and forth and that she cannot lock us out. She shows me a form I signed where I have agreed to check out at 12 noon!
The same woman at check in got me furious as I awaited my room keys. After waiting for over an hour she informs me that she has upgraded my room from 818 to 1212 - which has a balcony. It was only later that I found out that 90% of the rooms had a balcony and infact 818 was the better room. 818 was a corner room, which was much bigger than the balcony rooms
    - this hotel has no literature or information once you enter the room. I wanted to check restaurant options and I could not find any info at the reception or room. again I had to encounter our rude lady at the reception who told me 'my colleague informed me that this information has already been shared with you'. So much for hospitality!! Yes, while checking in I was casually inquiring about where breakfast would be and her colleague told me about the restaurant, but so what? Isn't her role really to assist guests?
    - the temp control in my room was stuck at 18.5 and wouldn't go any higher or lower
    - being vegetarian, the hotel offered very very little at the buffet. Don't bother with half board or breakfast if you are vegetarian. I requested the manager at the hotel to prepare something veg for me as I had pre paid for dinner in my package. They gave me grilled veggies and mashed potato for main course. These are normally the things you are served as sides
    - oh yes, the hotel expects guests to figure their genius intercom system. Again no signage, literature in the room that tells you the numbers for reception/room service. I had to look up last dialed and try each one to figure the reception number - which by the ways was something like 81300. !!
    - the reception told me jacuzzi , steam and sauna are included in my package - when I went to the spa they said I have to pay for jacuzzi and only steam and sauna are included
    - my sister booked a spa treatment for 8pm and arrived at 8.07 to find no one at the reception. She stepped inside to look for someone and by the time her 60 min massage started it was 8.15. She paid for 60 mins but was given only 45 mins treatment. She requested for them to give full 60 mins, but the spa manager insisted that they had another booking for 9pm. This entire conversation went on till 9.10 in the treatment room. They did not budge from their decision but ironically the next customer was certainly not taken in till 9.15pm

In conclusion, having a 5 star ambiance doesn't make a 5 star. You need to walk the talk - in every experience and touch point. At Bilgah, you take home nothing except stories of terrible service and ride staff in the name of a five star
