  Bust to Azim Azimzadeh, famous Azerbaijani caracaturist, was open in the ancient part of Baku – in the “Icheri sheher” State Historical and Architectural Reserve. The author of the monument is the famous Azerbaijani sculptor Omar Eldarov. The author created the whole composition, adding to the bust of the caricaturist artist the figures created on the basis of the heroes of the works of Azim Azimzade, who in his work appealed to the customs and traditions of the Azerbaijani people, social contradictions, folklore, fairy tales and oral folk art.
