  Nice, One and 2 bedroom condo type rooms. Clean, full kitchen. Pool area is great, and just a short walk to Eagle Beach and a grocery store!

  The rooms are being renovated because they are very dated. The Wi-Fi reception was horrible. The location was good but then again it is Aruba and hard to have a bad location there. The pool was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Once the renovations are finished I might stay there again.

  Excellent as always! Every year keeps getting better and better thanks to Tropicana saving this resort!
  If you are looking for a place in Aruba, THIS IS THE PLACE! Smack in the middle of the west side of the island, not uptown nor downtown but you have the perfect blend.
  I'm so happy to be an owner here!

  Stayed at Tropicana after a cancelled flight and had to book 3 nights the day of. The room has all amenities; decent size master bedroom, living room (couch, TV, etc.), Dining set, kitchen with full size fridge and microwave (small cook top, no oven) and balcony. Everything in room was great, only thing I'm not too impressed is with the blue old school bathroom. Laundry room (1 washer and dryer) in each floor by elevators. Vending machine in each floor too with drinks only (sometimes it does take dollars). Located in front of a very expensive food market.

  My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. A nice place to stay with friendly staff. One of our favorite places within the complex was the swim up bar. We loved that we were a short walk to the beach and the resort was willing to help set up reservations and some transportation as well.

  This is pretty decent hotel with large rooms. We had full kitchen in our unit as well. The resort has nice pool and a pizzeria. The staff is friendly and the place surely has good vibes.
  The location is great as well, it’s 5min walk from Eagle beach, 2mile from high rise hotel areas and the palm beach
  The checking time is at 4:00pm and they would not give room earlier if you arrive an hour early so make a note of that!

  THEY ARE REMODELING THE UNITS STARTING IN THE BACK, THE REMODELED ONES ARE NICE. I BOOKED AND ASKED FOR A FIRST FLOOR AND GOT THE FOURTH FLOOR. I CHECKED ON A PRICE FOR A FIRST FLOOR TIME SHARE UNIT, THE SALESMAN SAID $7000. CASH, BUT I COULD BUY ONE ON PAYMENTS WITH 0% INTEREST FOR $11,000. HE'S NOT CHARGING INTEREST BUT MAKING AN EXTRA $4,000., SOUNDS LIKE INTEREST TO ME, THE SALESMAN NEEDS TO COME UP WITH A NEW GIMMICK. THE POOLS WERE ADEQUATE WITH ONE HAVING A SLIDE, IT WASN'T VERY CROWDED WHEN WE WERE THERE, CHECK IN AND OUT WAS GOOD ALSO. IF YOU LIKE THE BEACH, YOU HAVE TO WALK THROUGH THE LACABANNA AND CROSS THE STREET TO GET THERE. WE STAY THERE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE OUR TIME SHARE WEEK STARTS ON FRIDAY, IT IS ADEQUATE FOR THAT. WE PAID $79.00/ NIGHT PLUS THE $3.50/DAY CHARGE, SO THE PRICE WAS RIGHT FOR BEING IN ARUBA.

  This is really mixed review because there were great things and not so great things. First, the people are great and that is 66% (ha ha).... Seriously, the people are great. Second, the pool area is wonderful. You have to ride the slide. Third, the room was not remodeled yet. There are some really nice ones and they wont tell you which ones. Fourth, construction is going on. I mean, bang, bang, saw, saw... Laying by the pool M-F expect to hear construction. Lastly, eat at Pizza Bobs! Enrique is a hoot, the food is good, and the prices are better. Just remember there is a world class beach only five minutes away. Enjoy.

  Friendly people. Good service. Beautiful rooms. Near a supermarket. Has a very own casino and a fast food place in the resort.
  Five minutes away from Eagle Beach.
  One pool with a waterslide and a bar that you can drink and be in the water at the same time. The other pool has a waterslide.
  It's a Very beautiful resort.

  5 min walking from eagle beach. You get your own beach hut and beach chairs. Rooms are clean and spacious, plus they have a kitchen with a stove, a full fridge and cooking utensils/silverware. Pools and gym were great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

  The location is a walk to the beach, public transportation, food and a supermarket. There is a restaurant on the property and the updated rooms are beautiful.

  We were in one of the older rooms but didn't have any complaints. We went to Aruba for the beach and pool, not our room! The room was clean and got freshened up daily by the staff. The kitchen was nice so we didn't have to eat out every day and was well stocked with dishes and utensils. There's a giant supermarket within walking distance which made getting food and snacks easy.
  
  There's a poolside bar and another pizza place that both served what I would consider good bar quality food in the US. There's also a casino walking distance across a parking lot as which has a restaurant in it (you are allowed to smoke in there which turned us off so we didn't stay).
  
  If you're picky about the room you stay in make sure you know you have one of the upgraded rooms. Otherwise the cheaper non-updated rooms are more than adequate for eating and sleeping while you aren't out enjoying Aruba!

  We had a great time, awesome beaches 2 fantastic pools and a tiny little food shack in the middle of the resort that's looks are deceiving. It has the best food we had anywhere on the island. The rooms are a little dated thus the 4 stars instead of 5. But we will stay there again soon.

  Tropicana Resort was nestled behind La Cabana resort but had all the little hidden things that many other low rise hotels didn't have.
  Like Pizza Bob's and the best Spa in the area. They also have 2 pools , one which is more lively with the swim up bar, and one that is quiet for sunbathing and reading.
  They are literally a short distance from the best beach on the island, Eagle Beach. And best of all the price is right!
