I'm amazed anyone has rated this place five stars. I want to love Sidebar as it is from my home state (Kentucky). I've eaten here four times since it was opened, each time hoping for a better experience. This time I ordered the hummus. The menu described it as being accompanied by veggie sticks, toast and chips. I got a plate piled high with tortilla chips, one very small carrot stick, one pathetic piece of celery, a few small pieces of toast and MAYBE two tablespoons of mediocre hummus. My wife got a hamburger. The bun was super stale. We aren't complainers, but when the waiter asked how are food was, she mentioned it. The waiter just made a joke and didn't even apologize. I wish I could like Sidebar, but they won't be seeing me anymore.

Very expensive bar, but does have good free WiFi so if you make your drinks last, then could look on it as good value. No wheelchair accessible toilets in the bar, but if you follow the building about 50 meters up the right hand side (as looking at bar) then there is a public toilet that you might be able to squeeze into

Great food, I always enjoy their veggie burger and fries. However, their food is very overpriced at $16-$21 USD for a burger. Good vibes and friendly service nonetheless.

My wife and I ate breakfast here three times while on our honeymoon. Had the French toast Everytime and it is outstanding. Service was prompt and efficient. Just steps away from the Renaissance hotel if you are staying there. The Berry Nut French toast is pictured and highly recommended.

The food was good. However the service 0, the waitress was nice maybe new. However management didn't step up to the plate to handle the soapy cocktail and half full drinks. Instead she stood over the waitress arms folded and said no she will not take it off the bill or replace and the drinks served half full is the way they come. Felt bad that they split the tips at the end of the night because I would have tipped my waitress but management ate that. Customer service 🚽🚽🚽

Came here for breakfast twice. The first time was fine. Our server was very nice and had our food/drinks out quickly. The next morning, we decided to go back, because of how quick and easy it was the day before to grab a bite before hitting the beach. This time around, we had an awful server. We weren't sure if she was training, or just had no clue how to do her job. It took 15-20 min just for our waters to come out, another 20 min to wait and order, and then ANOTHER HOUR for food to come out, which we had to remind them about once or twice. Whenever we asked for assistance or a question, our server would somewhat acknowledge and then ignore it. Crazy thing was, we weren't the only ones at the time receiving slow/poor service. There must have been 6-9 people who either left, had to walk up to them to pay the bill, or had overall complaints. They have great food and one or two servers that know what they are doing and are attentive, but hopefully they can figure it out for future guests.

Nice atmosphere. Waitresses are friendly but slow. We waited 30 min for breakfast and eggs were cold. They also charge for coffee refills. Really?

Love the burgers here and the craft beer variety as-well. Unfortunately the place doesn't seem to be very busy, but it definitely deserves a try!!!

Came pre-dinner rush and was treated with the best meals we've had all week. Not too expensive. Salads are good, Burgers are great! Will be back before the end of our trip.
