Terrible meal and terrible service. Our waiter took our order and then we never saw him again. The garlic sauce served with the fish dish had a chemical after taste. The rice was dry and tasteless. My wife's shrimp was so salty that it burned her lips. We had to hunt down our own condiments from another table nearby. We had to flag down another waiter to get our bill. When we commented on our terrible meal, the guy just chuckled. No attempt was made at making amends. Great ambiance if you like the smell of diesel exhaust from buses and trucks driving past. I would skip this place if I were you.

Pretty neat spot if you like carribean style fish. I had a stellar red snapper dish with rice and plantain. Fries too but they weren't needed. Was excellent. My wife had a shrimp fish. She loved it. One beer and iced tea. 40 USD plus tip. Dessert menu sounded pretty good. Probably going back.

Best seafood restaurant on the island! We had a whole deep fried grouper and local style fish soup that was really great! Very easy to get to, good parking and very casual. You can sit inside or out.

This place is a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing. We went there twice for dinner during our 4 day trip.

Food is good and not too expensive. But nothing too fancy or special. Had the lobster tail and for that price it was pretty good. Worth of going for a casual dining. Only outside tables, but well covered and fanned.

One of the best meals I had on my trip (and in a while). The fishes of the day were King fish and grouper. Came with delicious sides. Granted the area has a lot of construction around it and it’s not in a touristy place, but definitely worth venturing into.

We tried this restaurant a couple of weeks ago based on a recommendation from someone at the Marriott claiming it was fresh local fish. I wanted to support a local business instead of one of the larger touristy restaurants, so we went. We're a low key group (2 couples) and we do NOT need anything fancy, but the atmosphere here was awful. It is on the side of the main road, next to some construction. I realize they have no control over that but the restaurant is open air, so it feels like you're getting waves of dust coming in from the street as the cars drive by. Additionally, there were flies EVERYWHERE. We asked the waiter to turn the overhead fans on to blow them away and of course the two fans near us were broken. So the flies literally swarmed our food. And speaking of the food, it was mediocre at best. You get whatever fish they were able to catch that day, which was flounder. I had mine grilled and it came to me somewhat soft and greasy. Others in my party had pan fried and it was a bit better. There is a fair amount of food on the plate so it you're looking for quantity not quality, I guess this place is ok. But compared to other places we dined in on the island, I would NOT recommend this place.

i passed by this place so many times, and always overlooked.
i was there and found some great dishes on the menu, simple menu but very tasty.
i would recommend this place if you are a fish lover.
i was craving for the fried fish eggs but they were out of them.
will have to come back to have thosethen we can talk about 5 starts :)

The bad reviews are all correct. Worst food I’ve had my entire trip. Service was horrible, ambiance is awful. The place is so loud and unfriendly you just don’t feel comfortable. Went through three different wait staff, all straight faced only came to the table when asked. Food came out cooked underdone and two hours later. On top of the 30 minute wait before hand just to be seated. Overpriced, overrated, waist of time. Go to Driftwood instead.

Grouper had to many bones and skin. Not good. Too many good restaurants in Aruba to eat there. Dont waste your time. Flies all over my food. Service is very slow.

Too many flies. You can barely enjoy your food. The lobster and shrimp are awesome. Definitely a great bang for your buck (10 shrimp in the grilled shrimp plate). But you will be battling lots of flies all meal long

The place is near the highway but there is also a nice view of the terrain. I had the Calco(conch) in garlic sauce. The food was delicious and the staff was also friendly. I would eat here again.

All of the employees were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful and the food was fast and delicious. The prices are very reasonable for how much food you get. We got 1 lb of fried bone-in red snapper and 1 lb of shrimp to share between 4 people and it was plenty of food. I highly recommend trying all of the sauces as well; they're a great addition to the flavor!
