Renaissance Ocean Suites provides a great view of the beautiful aqua ocean waters. Great place to relax and enjoy 2 pools, one has a swim up bar. The private island offers cabanas for rent. Photo and feed opportunities with flamingos.

I really enjoyed myself here. The only issue I had is when I first arrived, our room had a damp floor. They quickly moved us to a new room. Very pretty and enjoyed the private island too. I will come here again:)

Will be returning. Rooms on marina side are small but very clean. Cooling drawer works great in room. Perfect location for walking around and exploring. Private island is gorgeous.

My wife and I received an email 3 days prior to our trip from the hotel staff letting us know that they can help with anything upon arrival. The staff at the hotel and island was so helpful kind and always willing to help. The adult pool at the Marina Building is lively with music and staff. The hotel has boats that go back and forth to their island just about every 15 mins. It's so worth it. The island and staff are fantastic. The island has a restaurant that opens at 8:30 for breakfast. It also has 2 sides to the island Adult side and family side for sunbathing.

Thought this would be more exclusive but the Marina is where it's happening. A hot water issue (lack of) plagued our stay. The private island is fabulous but the water taxi has house rules important to know... ask the desk at check in. The items in the kitchen were wet and the ice bucket had mold. It is nice but even as a Platinum member I may look elsewhere next time.

The hotel staff are great but be patient. They run on island time so it might take a while for your order to arrive. Surf and Turf is a rip off but Renaissance Burger was amazing. Happy Hour run 430 - 6pm half priced drinks at Pool Bar.

This hotel was very , safe, secure, beautiful, and friendly, a little pricey but was worth it. AC worked perfect a tad bit louder than normal ac units. Room had a kitchenette area especially for someone to cook their own meal because eating out everyday in Aruba can become pricey. Room was very clean view from the balcony was amazing. I think I may look for a different hotel next time that I go. Just my opinion.

The service on the private island and at the cabanas was wonderful! The service at the hotel was decent but not great. We alerted the hotel ahead of time that it was our honeymoon and we were disappointed to not be greeted with any sort of congratulations. We are also Marriott gold and did not get the free upgrade that comes with Marriott gold status. The hotel staff often wasn’t able to help with simple things for example it took 2 days and many tries to get a laundry card. Despite all that it really was a decent place and the access to the private island made it a great place. The hotel is also in a very convenient location and close to the airport.

This hotel was the perfect combination for what we were looking for. It was trendy and modern, and the rooms were great! AC worked perfectly which was a nice relief from the heat after a long day. The pool was great, never crowded, and having a DJ playing most nights gave the place an energetic feeling! All that said, the best part was having access to their private island by a 10 min boat ride that had multiple pick up locations. I would definitely stay here again!

I did not stayed at the resort but rented lounge chairs on the beach. Used their bathroom and walked around premises. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of plants and flowers. They have small pond and waterfall. There are swans in the pond, and fish. Parrots in cages are very interesting. Lobby is impressive. Nobody objected my walking around, which is nice. I saw water slides for children and pools looked good and clean. I did not use the pool. They have beach bar and cafe that anybody can use. Staying guest looked happy.

Beautiful hotel! The Staff was very friendly and accommodating, other than this one bell boy that wrote our room number directly on our bag with permanent marker ( found that extremely rude). We checked in a few hours early and our rooms were not ready however we were still given full access to the property including Flamingo Island which is nothing short of breath taking. Vety close to so much food, shopping, and casinos. The rooms aren't that big but they are very cute an have balconies. I will definitely be back :)

This place was terrible!!! My husband and I felt unwelcome as quest at the Renaissance in Aruba. The staff refuse to feed my husband who’s a diabetic while on their “private inland” In other word no first come first sever (I was shock by the waiter behavior (you can get this type for treatment anywhere) never experience such behavior while abroad/vacation. Also, while at their “private island” rented a floater where they tried to short me $2.00. The refrigerator in hotel (cooler) was not working. Guess at the hotel were friendlier than the staff. I had to raise my hand like 5 time to receive service. The vibe very “stiff. The music was terrible; played the same songs and same type of songs the entire 5 day. Felt unsafe and not at ease while at the Renaissance. Food nothing special about it. Very hostile (staff). I was cheated out of my money and my vacation time from work. Never in this life time will I stay at any Renaissance or recommend. “Traveler please beware”. Zero star rating would best describe my experience at Renaissance in Aruba

Very nice resort. They could do more as far as entertainment. After 9pm, the place in dead. Rooms are small but comfortable. Cleaning staff are wonderful. Overall a very good place to stay if you want to be near shopping and food. If you want to party, the try Palm Beach area.

The best vacation hotel experience! We stayed at the Renaissance Marina for 12 days. It was an amazing place. The staff is super friendly. The concierge Nadia is the best! She set us up for dinners and activities and was so helpful. They make you feel welcome and like family. The best part of the hotel is the boat that picks you up from the hotel lobby to take you to the private island to visit Flamingos and Iguanas. We will definitely do another Aruba vacation and will definitely book here again!

Great location for shops and activities. The boat to their island was fun. Rooms always clean and tidy but staying at Marina hotel was a bit like living in a shopping mall.

Upscale resort convenient to everything Aruba has to offer. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to the resort's private island by a short boat ride that's included with your stay - the boat pulls up right into the lobby! Modern and fun pool and bar area. Great restaurants. Literally right on top of the mall and right next to other local shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend

Beautiful resort & hotel! Stayed here for about a week with some close friends for a getaway. All the staff is super friendly. Made friends with a couple of the servers/bartenders, who were very outgoing and gave us detailed info about places to go in Aruba. We went to the exclusive island, where they shuttle you by boat, complimentary as a guest! My only complaint was that the room we stayed in did not have a fridge. They said it was a cooler, but it didn't make drinks cold, so it made it hard to buy things and keep them cold. Also would have been nice if one of the hotels provided a jacuzzi/hot tub area, but that is a very minor detail. Overall, it was a great time and I look forward to staying there again when I plan to go back!

The hotel at Ocean Suites was beautiful! Had no complaints. Food was excellent at every meal, the 1 bedroom suite was more than sufficient for the 4 of us. The room was clean, staff was friendly and excellent , they provided such great service, especially at the beach bar on the private island and at Sole. Location in downtown area very nice with the Renaissance Marketplace next door with live entertainment and shopping. Private island with private beach to die for, beautiful water, white sand and flamingos walking around! I definitely recommend this hotel!

The rooms aren't cleaned properly. I was moved from one room due to the toilet running and the faucet leaking. Also there was pubic hair in the shower and the bathroom floor. The second room there was pubic hair in the shower, red lipstick and hair on one of the pillows. The rooms need to be cleaned properly and approved by a manager over housekeeping . I will never stay at this hotel again. I was celebrating my anniversary and needless to say this put a damper on my trip. The drinks at the lobby bar weren't tasteful at all. The food isn't all that great either except the breakfast buffet. Think twice about staying here.

Good thing they have the private island. Rooms are small and staff seem treat you like you're bothering them.

This hotel was great, the staff were very helpful with any issues, like our late flight out, and the amenities were more than we expected. Having access to the flamingo island was very nice as it was a great place to snorkel, relax, or see the animals. The room itself was extremely comfortable, with soft pillows and blankets. My only complaint was the bathroom doors dont actually close (they slide and just cover the bathroom) and the shower was extremely narrow.

The private island makes this resort the best choice on the island. It is beautiful. The room service does seem to overlook things like leaving clean linens, but overall a friendly, welcoming environment.

Quite possibly the best hotel in Oranjestad and outside the high-rise area in the northern part of the island. It's an adult-only property with its own mall, close to lots of restaurants, bars and all sorts of entertainment. The staff is courteous, the rooms are spacious and the pool is cleaned daily with a bar nearby. The hotel even has its own island, a short, free boat ride away and accessible only to hotel guests.

We had dinner for three days at this hotel on the swimming pool floor. On the last day my dad dropped my mom and I off while he was parking the car so we could go and order food. The waitress then came and Said we couldn't eat at that floor because I wasn't 18, but the pool rules didn't say so. Then when my dad came he was was not even a little bit satisfied with the situation. He then talked to the manager and the manager was extremely rude , saying "those are house rules", he didn't even apologize, neither did the waitress. My conclusion is that he is not ready to be a manager neither is the waitress. My dad has been a member of renaissance for over 20 years and then this happens. This is ridiculous! And most of the restaurants around the island are like that as well.
