The museum is not very big, but the view from the top of the tower is worth the price of admission.

It's almost too small for the entry fee, but on the other hand, it's practically unattended. My friend and I climbed to the top of the bell tower, cracked open a local beer and toasted the town. Thanks for the good times.

Stopped here during walking tour, our guide Ron provided history and uses of the Fort. Very informative.

Disappointed with visit. No information on history of fort, just background story of hatmaking on Aruba. Not worth visiting.

Museum dedicated to the Panama style hat and weaving industry in Aruba. Also, climb to the top of the tower for awesome views of the port and city.

Exhibition is tiny and not very informative.
The only perk is the opportunity to climb up the tower and to see the town from the above.

This place was interesting enough for history types or if you have some extra time on your vacation/cruise but honestly not worth the cab ride. Very small and not much about the history of the island or military. Mostly about weaving and how it was their original export (interesting but hardly museum worthy). Neat little local artist display in the back as well. Saving grace is the bell tower that you can climb and see a few good sites from up high but stairs are super narrow for the less athletically inclinded. Current cost to get in is $5USD.

Came here for the Bonbini festival. Great if you want to learn about the Aruban culture. Thought there would be a lot going on but it was really low key. Dance performances, a poet reciting a poem, and a singer. The emcee was awesome and taught us some Papiamento. The food was a little lacking with a few regional foods like creole fish, beef stew and pastichi. Overall a nice experience.

The cultural events every Tuesday night are a such a joy to attend: live entertainment & feeling the love Arubans express for their Island, so vibrant, and friendly

Don't go there, they will rip you off with a 10$ us. And you will learn nothing about Aruba except that they do straw hat. Bad experience.:-(

Museum's story was pretty short, but you can climb to the tower! Nice view to the port and city.

My wife and I spent a few hours here after we were done eating and walking around in the area. We head some steel drum music playing so we went over there and watched the performance of the local culture and the music.
