It's been 28 years since my last visit to Driftwood and they have not lost their touch for preparing great seafood. With their personable friendly service to match. You may want to reserve as its still the place to go in Aruba for Caribbean seafood and gets busy I hear year round. Portions match the prices come hungry:()

Wonderful food all around. Nice to get away from the restaurants located next to the hotels. Best food we have had. The staff was great and seemed to enjoy what they do. Highly recommend to everyone that comes to the island!

Our favorite restaurant everything about it is excellent. The best food on the island and the wait staff and management treat you like family. We go at least twice sometimes three times each year They catch their fish fresh daily..
If you like blackened fish they do it to perfection.

While the decorations haven’t been renovated in quite some time, the quality of their food is only perfect. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly. Great place for groups or a romantic date!

We were recommended to this restaurant and were not disappointed. The Mahi Mahi was seasoned and cooked perfectly, leaving it nice and moist and very flavorful. Didn't need to use the sauce they provided on the side. The chowder was full of seafood. It was not overly creamy, but that is how I like it. If you are an escargot lover, they make a nice plate, with a small bit of mashed potato which helps soak up the garlic butter if you don't want bread. My husband is ready to go back again tonight to try the red snapper.

Overall it is a decent restaurant! I had the fish soup, which was delicious! My daughter had seafood chowder, which could be a bit more thick and creamy but it didn't taste bad. I had crab cake, my daughter had scallops, both were nicely done and flavorful. Their pickled onions are sweet and spicy, which gave a nice kick on everything we ate.

Two things to be aware of: the food portion is Americanized, so it is big; you have to pay for the bread.

If we ever visit Aruba again, we will consider going back here.

If you are into fishing, you can charter their fishing boat ($400 half day/$800 full day, coming with the captain, crew, and fishing equipment). I heard the restaurant will cook your catch for you as well.

My wife and I had heard a lot of advertisements and recommendations for Driftwood while in Aruba. Our experience was very disappointing. Our waiter did not seem excited to describe food, and did not give great explanations of the tastes expected. The atmosphere was very "chain-like," and the drinks were very average. The fresh fish was excellent, but that is the only positive in our time at Driftwood. We will not return.

Very good catch of the day options (mahi and wahoo today), cooked one of four ways. Fish was cooked properly, good seasonings, and the sides were a great accompaniment (veg and rice). Garlic bread was a nice touch, and service was wonderful. 4 stars because of the price.

Great seafood and we love the seafood soup. Is it fishy? Well, it is a seafood soup and I hope it doesn't taste like chicken. But at the same time, we did not feel it was overly fishy at all. If you ask for the special menu you get a 3 course dinner for $29.99. The flan is good here too.
