Seating is right on the sand. We had a beautiful table for two during sunset. The food was beautifully presented and very good. Realize that this is a place frequented by vacationers. Service will be relaxed and a bit slower paced. It was just perfect.not slow, but they didn't rush us through our meal either. The staff was friendly and the view is gorgeous.

This will be our third year staying at the Divi Aruba Phoenix, we got back on 3/31/18. The resort just keeps getting better. There were several upgrades, most importantly the wi-fi is WAY better, we could even get it on the beach. Everyone who works there is great, extremely friendly and helpful. The first year we went the food was just OK. This year the food was excellent at both Pure Beach and Pure Ocean. It is close to everything - and they keep the grounds and the rooms (which are being updated) very clean. I strongly suggest you stay here, I think it is the best resort on the island. You will not be disappointed!! Juli King

I have a time share here and have owned it for about 20 years. After spending a few years away the Divi Phoenix has only gotten better. The accommodations are clean, seem to be regularly redone with new furniture .and I am very happy with the restaurants.Pure Ocean in particular (dinner restaurant) is especially good. We eat at the bar and Jude the bartender was outstanding. LOVE IT!

We love it there. Quiet. The people are wonderful. Great staff. Just wish the bar didn't close so early. Guess that's why it's so quiet. Our 4th year in a row!

Loved my time here. All rooms have a view of the water. The palapas on the beach are awesome and you’ll always find one if you get there early enough. For those that like calm waters to wade in and float, you’ll love the beach.

Conveniently close to the restaurants, bars, and clubs in a Palm Beach but not right in the middle of all the traffic and noise there. It features a large and lovely beach away from all the other hotels on Palm Beach. It offers different size pools as well as a pool bar which is fun and convenient. They also have some night time acts (magic) performing a couple of times a week on site.

There is also a nice sanctuary of butterflies across the street to diversify your trip to the island. For convenience, there is also a Hertz rental car office on-site too.

If you are one who likes to get up and head to the beach around 6am to claim your spot then this resort is fine. If you miss this window, forget it. Folks here claim their spot on the beach by hanging a beach bag on the post next to chairs and then go back to bed. God forbid you try and sit in the empty chairs. They will quickly appear and tell you to move elsewhere, then go back to bed. The beach chairs are for the most part empty all day but claimed. Beach attendant says some people claim one for the whole month. Consider somewhere else. Management is aware.

Divi phoenix is a great place to stay has nice pools and a great beach right on its complex. We had a one bed room studio that is great we had a kitchen and a lani the overlooked the ocean. Food is so so but there are so many restaurants in the area so I would eat elsewhere. Located in the best area of Aruba and believe me I went thru the whole island this resort and any of the high rises north of here are great. South is not as good. Go take a UTV tour with aroundaruba to see the national pool and park it was a fun trip.

One of our better RCI exchanges. I should mention it is a bargain when booking through RCI. It is a clean resort with restaurants and bars on site. The accommodation's are above average with everything you need to enjoy a great vacation.

When you first step into the room, it's a shocker. They all stink. It's that gross wet towel smell. We complained, got a new room, new room smelled the same. It's because of the humidity. Once you get used to the smell, it's a good spot. Beach is amazing, no issues there. One of the best we've been to. On the other hand, the restaurant at the beach kinda sucks. Food isn't that great. Overall, it's good, but not great. Luckily we got the accommodation for free but if I had to pay $450USD per night, I'd be pissed

I loved coming here and would come back to this place! I rated it 4 stars only because I feel that it should be all inclusive, (or offer that option) and step their game up when it comes to their pools. The surrounding areas have pools that seem to be fancier with fountains and cabanas sprinkled throughout the pools, while Phoenix offers more family friendly style pools. I guess that's just my personal opinion. However, the beach at Phoenix makes up for any pool! Phoenix is located at the end of the line of hotels, offering no foot traffic or boats intruding their beaches. This is nice for those wanting a quiet space to escape to or a serene picture of the water. Foot traffic also brings possible theft of items, as you notice with all of the other hotels people from all over have to walk through your beach to get to nightlife, restaurants, or water activities. The staff was amazing, very polite and helpful. The only exception was the pool bar, who I found didn't always have the best drinks and you had to wait ten minutes to get their attention. If you listen to their divi rewards program presentation (even if you don't sign up) you get a voucher to use for activities which was very convenient and saved us $150 on our water exclusions. I would also recommend getting a room with a kitchen, as you can get groceries to save some $$$ on breakfast and lunch. They have grills so you can grill up lunch beach side. I would highly recommend going here if you have kids, a romantic getaway, or are looking for a quiet place to relax. Those looking for party life should look elsewhere, as at night it's dead (at least when I went in November.)

Just got back. Stayed one week at the phoenix. Great time. Still not much fun to have to be on beach @ 6:00 a.m. to get a palapa. Need to have a better system.
Hats off to the following employees who made our stay so good.
