  What a great hotel. Very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of bigger hotels. Very nice and helpful staff. We went for our honeymoon. We got breakfast for two morning's it was awesome. Wish we would have done it for the whole 7 days. I would highly recommend this hotel...

  When looking for a hotel, we were looking for something secluded and away from the larger 400+ room hotels. Boardwalk Small Hotel fit this perfectly. We stayed in Casita #11 which was a 1 bedroom.
  
  Pros:
  
  *Kitchenette was well-equipped (fridge, stovetop (no oven), utensils, plates, cups, etc. coffeemaker, blender, toaster and microwave).
  *Bedroom bed was comfortable, pillows were a little too big but we dealt with it. We had 2 extra roll-aways for the kids, which they liked and were comfortable.
  *Bathroom was modern, liked that the sink was out of the actual bathroom so we could use it while others were in the shower/using toilet.
  *Outdoor space was very private, nice hammock and enough seating for the 4 of us. We used the BBQ a few times, which was great. just wished we had an overhead fan similar to other Casitas.
  *The staff was amazing, the ladies were in and out quickly and they did a great job. Office staff is super friendly and helpful.
  *Thursday's they have a happy hour with a rum punch- we met the owner and chatted, which was really nice.
  
  Cons:
  *To save on energy, the HVAC unit in the bedroom turns off whenever the door is opened. We were leery since we had 2 kids sleeping in the main living room area and didn't want to shut the door. This caused the room to be really hot. Also if you got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, the AC would turn off- if you forgot about the AC turning off, the room got hot very quickly. Not a huge deal breaker, we worked around it.
  *Bedroom needed blackout shades- was woken up early once the sun was up and was hard to fall back to sleep because of how bright the room was.
  *Bathroom window had no shades, blinds, etc. It was open to the outside so we hung towels to shield ourselves from the construction site next door. Other bathrooms seemed to have shutters. This was a turnoff.
  *Pool was always filled with leaves, bugs, etc. They cleaned it in the AM but that was it. Luckily the skimmer was always left by our Casita so we would skim it before each swim. The pool could use some maintenance- hot tub wasn't really that hot, there were stains and pitting in the concrete, could use a facelift.
  *Parking is tight especially when fully booked. Was hard finding parking some nights. Again not a deal breaker but just be prepared for a tight fit.
  
  Overall, our stay was relaxing, we loved the outdoor space and loved that we were on our own and not really bothered. Felt more like an AirBNB than a hotel, which was nice. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would definitely stay again.

  Melrose Place in Paradise! Private apartments around a pool with your own decks, hammocks, BBQs, kitchens - this is a great place for those seeking tranquility and privacy. Our outside area was visited by cats, iguanas and a large crab. The most dangerous creatures were the mosquitoes!
  Short walk to the beach between the Marriott and the Ritz, or pack your car and explore the small island. You won't regret it!

  This was a great experience for myself and my family. From the front desk staff who greeted us and helped us, to the cleaners, everyone was friendly and efficient.
  Alice was on the front desk when we got there and started our trip off right. Friendly and knowledgeable.
  The air conditioning worked great and was a blessing for this Canadian struggling with the heat. The rooms gave you an instant feeling of being on vacation. Beautifully appointed and very clean.
  Kids loved sitting on the deck and the hammock was their favorite. Little lizards in the garden kept their excitement level high.
  
  I could not imagine a better base of operations from which to explore this beautiful island.

  What a great place to stay! From the moment you walk in the hospitality is amazing! They are there to make you stay memorable! Our first time and we are definitely going back!

  Das Boardwalk ist völlig zu Recht zu einem der besten Hotels in der Karibik gewählt worden. Die kleine Anlage ist einzigartig liebevoll gestaltet, der Service überragend unauffällig und zuvorkommend.

  This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The design of the rooms allows for maximum privacy and give you the feeling of having your own private home. I highly recommend this hotel.

  I was alone in this magic island. So Boardwalk Hotel was terrific. When I arrived at Boardwalk , I fel in my home. Since you arrive to your casita you feel indulgence. The personalized attention is exceptional and makes you feel better.
