Even when it is windy on the island, this part of the beach has not much waves. Good for the kids. (obviously depends on the direction of the wind, and tide. But unlike eagle beach when there is a wind, there always very much wave to stop you jumping into the water. Alternative for kids during windy weather is palm beach). but it has strong wind on the beach itself due to locations. Also recently, people's bags got stolen so watch out your stuff when you are there. There are polices officer drive around as well. Btw, when you arrive, there are always people try to sell you the shade and comfort, remember chairs you pay for. But those palapas are free to use. If you are economical as me, then just lay down on a towel under one of the palapas :) - they call me :)

Small bus dropped us off but pickup Never came by on Sunday 5/28/17walked up to lighthouse swam at that area then waited in sun for over 2hrs and bus 🚍 never showed back up around 12-2pm Had 2 catch 🚖 taxi back Locals wanted to believe it was dependable but saw a bus until we got back in hotel 🏩 area
