  Beautiful food. Lovely staff helpful friendly and more than helpful. I am from out of Geelong and haven't been here before but will definitely eat here again if i ever come back. The Gone Fishing seafood meal at $35 was amazing value for fresh local seafood. My daughter and I shared as it wouldn't have been possible to eat something that size each. Highly highly recommended

  Sunday lunch after a pleasant drive in the country on a beautiful Spring day. Had a beaut little steak and chips with a garden salad at the Middle. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Recommended!

  Pork belly was beautiful. Seafood plate said cooked prawns and muscles but the came (cooked) chilled. Thats ok my partner ate them but I would not have ordered them as I cannot stand cold seafood. Taco spring rolls were a winner and staff were friendly.

  I really loved it here. I saw this particular hotel had good reviews but the name of the town was really the kicker for me. i mean who would'nt want to stay in poowong

  Really good pub grub and a little bit more. The kids meals were clearly made on site from fresh food, not processed frozen. Thoroughly enjoyed the tuna steak, perfectly cooked. Would have liked a little more greens on the plate. Hubby enjoyed his seafood, his only complaint was there wasn't enough!
  Friendly, helpful staff.
  Good night out to dinner in a local pub.
  Definitely recommend.
