This place doesn't have the greatest facilities or the best beach but it doesn't need them. It does have good fishing, a friendly Manager, nice chatty regulars and it is quite remote and away from it all despite only being a few minutes from town. You won't find the normal tourist garble here, just tranquility and relaxation.

I love this place. I've been twice now and am planning another soon. The facilities at one end of the park are almost new and very clean. Down the other end (non powered area), it's quite old but I know they have approved plans to redo it. The laundry was being upgraded whilst we were there and the public notice in the toilet showed approved plans for a jetty. The view is incredible, dogs allowed and fantastic long walks available for them too. It can get a bit windy, so be prepared BUT it can also get very hot in summer as it's right on the water. If I was in a boat, I wouldn't be any closer to the water - that's how close it is!
The caretakers are lovely and very accomodating and over NYE they have a bit of a party that you can elect to go to or stay 'home'. Last year was live music and it was fantastic. No dodgy stuff or inappropriate people, was a great place to be. Even the annuals were lovely to talk to.

I'm hesitant in writing this review as I want to keep this little gem to myself :) but really, if you want a fantastic cheap holiday, love the water (or have a boat) you must go here. Bring the kids bikes and do it old school. They might even learn some new (old) skills without playstations :)

Needed a respite for a few weeks, chose here! Friendly service, all amenities (cleaned daily) disability friendly, on the foreshore, lovely setting, very reasonable rates, dog friendly! I HIGHLY recommend Lang Lang caravan park for ANY family, we were welcomed even prior to arrival, maximum stay is 59 days for temp residency. We had a blast here and the laundrette on site was helpful too! Thanks so much Gail and Frank for everything, Jenn and co!
