Rob did an outstanding job cleaning and pointing all the stone inside and outside. I would highly recommend York Stone Restoration for any sandstone restoration work.

Rob and team did an extraordinary job carefully stripping back the cement render off the sandstone wall of our 130 year old terrace, restoring the wall and installing new stone paving on top of the varandah. His teams attention to detail is second to none.

We highly recommend Rob and York Stone. Very professional, outstanding quality of work and Attention to detail.
We had a complicated pool area to pave in Marble which required a lot of difficult angled cuts around rock features. Robs communication and great advice Helped us achieve exactly what we wanted. Great workmanship and great price!!

We have a terrace in Birchgrove. We had delayed repairing the front steps and re-pointing the sandstone for a number of years but finally decided that it had to be done. We went with a local with an excellent reputation. We are so pleased with Rob's outstanding work. We have received multiple complements on the work from our neighbours. Thank you Rob

We hired Robert from York Stone Restoration to complete some unfinished sandstone stairs and retaining walls in our garden. Very professional re the quotation and keeping the communication going. Most importantly the quality of the work is top notch. We are thrilled with the result and we look forward to having his expertise applied to a stone area of the house that has suffered from wind and water erosion - modern remedial products used in conjunction with his tuck- pointing skills.
Fair prices too. Would not hesitate to recommend.
