  So, my parents call a taxi at 6pm to go from the Werribee Mansion to the Italian Sports Club and he takes them on a circular route costing $36. Call an Uber to go back the other way at midnight and it’s $16. This is why Uber is needed and the Taxi industry deserves no compensation; they have been taking advantage of a monopoly for too long ripping people off.
